After the incident on when Emma had to wear one of her mom's expensive pink sequinned dress , you would think that her popularity in high school would immediately fly through the roof.
Sorry , but think otherwise. Instead of getting more attention in school , mostly from the boys , Emma's friends ended up ditching her. But why? Well , it's because all of the dresses her mom owns all have the smell of alcohol , except for her wedding dress.
Even her best friend since pre-school , Mel , ditched her to hang out with the 'It Squad' at their school. Even when Emma thought her classmates in a few of her classes were nice to her just because they wanted to be friends with her , Emma was completely wrong.
The truth was that they wanted to turn their backs on her the moment they became friends. Emma didn't know it until it happened. A boy named Shawn left a note at her locker , inviting her to a party that he was hosting.
When Emma got the invitation , she finally thought she finally could make some new friends and forget her old ones. So , Emma did attend the party.
Emma also heard that there will be this shortcut through the woods that can take her to the party faster. That was when it turned tragic. Emma was nearly raped.
