The tears wouldn’t stop, they just kept flowing out. “W-When will he re-remember me?” My voice shook with every word. My vision began to blur up in the tears. I could barely see Henry’s saddened expression.
“Ms. Fellner…”
His voice was soothing and soft, as if he was trying to keep me from breaking anymore. “I-I…” I hiccupped, my sentence never getting finished. I tried blinking the tears away so that I could see Henry’s face more.
“It’s okay. I promise I’ll personally take care of this patient for you…” His arms wrapped around me, hugging me. Although his promise was most likely out of pity, I could take comfort in his words. “I’ll take you back to your room for rest. You can get discharged tomorrow morning.” I nodded at Henry’s words. My legs felt like jelly, so getting back to my hospital room was a challenge. Luckily, I had Henry’s help.
Arriving into the room, he helped me back into my bed. My eyes grew heavy with sleep and before I even knew it, I was drifting off.
“Leave me alone, idiot!” The angry voice of sixteen year old Elizabeth Fellner shouted at a certain chestnut brown haired male with green lustful eyes. It was clear that the male was an obvious player whom was trying to court poor Elizabeth. Elizabeth walked faster down the halls of her school. Her legs wanted to so badly break out into a sprint but her knowledge of the school rules prohibited such behavior. A school president should not break the school’s rules.
“Don’t be like that Liz. I’ll give you a great ti--” His words were cut off by a cold glare from Elizabeth. Her honey colored eyes pierced the male’s green ones. The fuming Elizabeth reached the stairs leading to the second floor and she began to climb them; occasionally skipping a step.
“Don’t call me ‘Liz’. It’s ‘Elizabeth’.” She said, not even glancing back to see whether the flirt was following her or not. Although most people called her Lisa, Elizabeth was not going to give the idiotic pig the permission to call her by her nickname. Reaching the second floor, Lisa took a couple steps away from the stairs before spinning around on her heel to lock eyes with the flirt. “And I don’t want to have a ‘great time’ with you.” Lisa paused and folded her arms over her chest, “It’s not like you’ll be able to even give me a great time anyways.” A smirk played along her petite face. ‘Score one for the student council president!’ Or so she thought.
Lisa observed the male; she took another step back as she watched him take a step towards her. A smirk had formed along the line of the male’s lips. “Oh? Would you like me to prove you wrong?” The seductive voice he used could melt away any girl in the school but not Lisa. Not president Lisa! Lisa only stood there, eyeing him. “I’d like to see you try.” Her voice lowered threateningly at him. Was he trying to play her? As if she’d let him.
Turning around, Lisa started to walk again. To where? Student council room of course. Lisa had a council meeting but she was early by about thirty minutes. The meeting was to be held at exactly four o’clock but Lisa stayed afterschool to prepare the meeting and help the teachers and staff with anything that needed help with. She even tutored some students. Indeed Ms. Elizabeth Fellner was a model student.
Feeling a hand on her shoulder, Lisa made the mistake to glance back to whoever was touching her. Before she knew it, she was slammed against the wall of the hallway. Two hands pinned themselves between her head. Arms blocking her means of escape. Glaring at a smirking green eyed flirt, Lisa prepared herself for the worst.
