letter #3

Dear Chan,

I'll have you know now, this could be a long letter.

Anyways, yesterday was a bit more eventful than the day in my last letter.

So it started with me writing the last letter I sent, then I showered and went to the postal office to send the letter.

Louie picked me up from my house and I had my suspicions that he was probably dating Wonwoo, Jiho and Jooheon all at once! I just mentioned their names once and he gets all flustered. Lu Minghoe confirmed?

He said that his shift would be a bit long so if I had nothing to do, I could use the wifi in the back room and eat the snacks and drink cola. Just don't watch porn.

Anyways, so I walk into the back room right? I open the computer and the background was, I kid you not, a collage of Wonwoo, Jiho and Jooheon that looks very well edited.

I called him into the back room and confronted him about it and he just told me everything.

He had a crush on Jiho ever since their second year meeting, a crush on Wonwoo ever since he saw him at the library and a crush on Jooheon ever since he had first asked to copy his  notes. Lord help Louie's indecisive soul!

Anyways, I chatted up one of my friends; Jung Hoseok. He's about as cheerful as me, if not more! He was actually moving here to where we live. It'll be a week after this, but he'll also be transferring to the BigHit college next to Pledis college. He'll be majoring rapping course! Also the dance course as his minor.

I mentioned Seokmin to him and showed him how he looks like (and the fact that they both shared birthdays) and wants to meet him already! How cute ㅋㅋㅋ

Then I made some ramyun with Louie's help. But we decided that it wasn't enough so we had ordered several pizzas. And invited over Jiho-hyung and he helped with Louie's and I's homework. I could honestly smell the sexual tension from a mile away.

Then Louie's co-worker got to his shift and we were able to leave, and Jiho had invited two more friends named Yoongi and Namjoon. Both were from the rap course, where Jiho had as a minor, at the BigHit college.

Namjoon invited us to his boyfriend's house for a small party he was holding for a friend of his but we didn't know who it was. So when we got to his boyfriend's house, I saw Hoseok! He apparently was going to be living with at the rapper's dorm with Yoongi, Namjoon, and one of the new transfers from Japan, Hajime Mizuki. We just call him Mizu. He calls me Hoshi though because of my eyes, telling me how that means "star" in Japanese and how my eyes point upwards like a star. I'll probably make that my nickname now!

Anyways, Jin's house was really pink, and I mean really. Pastel pink walls, magenta curtains, everything. It was really pleasing to the eye though. I swear, who designed this place? I need to hire them if I ever wanted to have my own house.

Hoseok and Seokmin had been getting along really well and have even taken so many selfies together. Two horse-faced dorks . . . omo this will be fun.

During the party I met some really awesome people! Jiho and Louie introduced me to some of their other friends like Sin Bum Kum, an absolute visual, Yoon Daehee, who really doesn't seem like one of Jeonghan's relatives but seems more like Hoseok's, and of course, Mizuki, the apathetic tree.

We call him a tree because of his height, and the fact that he has green hair. Like seriously, he and Mingyu should hang out often!

Speaking of Mingyu, he did come with Seungcheol, Vernon and Wonwoo to Jin's home as they were invited by Namjoon. They were pleasantly surprised by the decor though.

Wonwoo just hid by a corner for the duration of the party before Louie started talking to him. Wonwoo, introverted, quiet, bookworm Jeon "bag of luck" Wonwoo was talking excitedly to someone other than his boyfriend. Insanity.

There was also a lot of food, made by Jin, Seungkwan (who had been inside Jin's house for a while now) and Louie, who helped out last minute. Mingyu made some dalgona with Jihoon's help, and they made a lot, so some of us had to take some home.

It was a real buffet; an entire, 3 meter long table was lined up just for Hoseok's arrival, full of food like jjajangmyeon, samgyeopsal, mixed seafood stew, and even tteokbokki! I felt so full (and fat) after eating, and there was still so much left that each of us had to take some home. Even Jooheon couldn't finish all the food I brought home so my appa and umma had to eat some too, and thought that I ate at some gourmet, Michelin star restaurant with the best chef in all of Korea, but I just told them that I ate some of the food at a friends' party and the look on their faces were priceless ㅋㅋㅋ

Anyways, Namjoon and Suga had a freestyle rap battle and it was so intense that we had to stop them before one of them ends up saying something really personal to the other. They didn't want to at first but when Jin and Jimin begged for them to stop, they did so with no hesitation and kissed their boyfriends! I swear everyone in this area is so gay.

Afterwards, Hoseok had a dance-off with me, and I won! Hoseok looked sad so I danced Catallena for him with Seungkwan and Seokmin and he immediately started to laugh along with the others in the house. His laugh was really contagious!

It was quite a fun and productive day.

I'd probably never forget that May 21! Ah this neighborhood is so nice~ You should move here!

"Done!" Soonyoung cheered. Louie walked into his room, holding a tray with some potatoes on a stick looking like a tornado and some soda. "Hyung, what are those?"

"I made my own version of what people sold at one of the nearby street food markets," Louie replied, setting the tray down on the small table in the middle of the other's room. "You haven't heard of this? 'Tornado potatoes' are what these things are called, I think."

"Oh I know those!" Soonyoung said, excited. He quickly sat down at the table after sealing the envelope the letter was supposed to be in. He took one of the sticks and peeled some of the seasoned potato from the stick, proceeding to chew on it. "Hyung, you made this?"

Louie nodded and opened his bottle of soda, drinking from it a bit before eating his own tornado-potato. "We'll just drop off this letter then we can go to the park. I made a bit more than I was supposed to, so we can have these as snacks."

Soonyoung nodded, opening his soda too quickly and it getting all over his shirt.
