letter #5

Dear Chan,

So Seungkwan and I got to school early because apparently Louie said whoever got there early would get food for lunch (food he made!!) so Seungkwan nagged me to finish the last letter early :(

So when we got there, we saw Louie talking to a guy, who then introduced himself as Wang Jackson. He was one of the new tranfers that came in, and he was apparently Jiho's little brother who was gonna major in rapping and minor in dancing. But seeing his thunder thighs, he's gonna need my and Chinaline's help.

But I just kept thinking about the fact that he was only "one" of the tranfers that came in judt last week and were not able to get to their classes instantly because of their orientation. I haven't seen many new people though.

Anyways Louie gave us food! I think it was gyoza or something along those lines full of mushroom and stuff with soy sauce as a dip and I could honestly smell the thing from the thermos Louie lent us and I was drooling. It smelled so good I swear!

Then basically, we had classes. Some of which were entertaining since my professors, as an energizer, had us do either improv or make up a song of our own on the spot.

Guess what I did for the song one.

Since it was windy . . .

"BLOWS, HURRICANE!"

It made even my most stoic professor laugh! I got extra credit for it too, so I'm really happy :)

Then I had to practice my choreography for "Jam Jam" with Jun and Minghao since we we're presenting, like, exactly when you reply so I may not be able to read your letter as early as I wanted to :( I'm really sorry!

By the way, the gyoza that was in the thermos in my bag the whole day scented my bag so now my notebooks and stuff smell like gyoza. Even one of the papers I had to submit. My professor smelled the air and asked if I worn had a savory-scented perfume or cologne but I just told her a friend of mine made some gyoza and she just asked who it was. When I mentioned Louie, she just nodded, wrote down his name on a sticky note with a "+10" next to his name for, apparently, his rap exam. Lucky.

Then I went to the rappers' dorm to pay a visit. It's like a three story building with two apartments per floor and most of my rapper friends (excluding Wonwoo, because he's a rich fuck :/ also Louie) stay there, two people per apartment.

Yoongi and Namjoon share an apartment, Seungcheol and Hansol, Mingyu and J-Hope, then Mizuki and now Jackson. Mizuki told me he was actually pretty annoying; he wouldn't shut up, he calls for Mizuki whenever theres a bug (even just an ant), and is very clingy, especially when he's asleep. Which is why Mizuki has those deep eye bags underneath his eyes. Poor tree :'(

I went to visit Seungcheol and Hansol but no one answered so I went to annoy Mingyu and J-Hope but they weren't there either! Yoongi and Namjoon still had classes and have to study for exams, so I went to Jackson and Mizuki's apartment.

When I opened the door, I saw Jackson, clinging onto Mizuki like a koala and was yelling and pointing at a tiny spider on the wall. Mizuki looked so apathetic that I think he's the basic definition of it.

Mizuki had to peel Jackson off him to kill the tiny spider, get a tissue, clean up the body, shove it in Jackson's face, then threw it in the garbage. Jackson almost fainted when the tissue was shoved in his face ㅋㅋ

I suggested we ate some of Louie's gyoza before I return the thermos to him, and they agreed. They cleaned their coffee table and we put the gyoza in a plate and it was still hot.

Honestly I was still craving more after eating it, but I don't really want to force Louie to make more since he has more stress than I do so :') I'll just have to ask him to make some for my birthday.

I helped Jackson a bit for the test for the dance course and he got it right most of the time but his body weight is a disadvantage. He has nice thighs though, no homo.

Then I left to go to Louie's house to return his thermos and I ran into Hansol and Seungkwan, who were also gonna return the thermos he got with the gyoza.

When we got in Louie's home, we saw him sleeping on the couch and looking absolutely wrecked, lips swollen and love bites everywhere, and his hair was defying gravity. Jiho was the one who opened the door for us.

Other than all that, nothing really happened yesterday.

But as I'm writing this, I'm awake at 4 a.m. because of my neighbor's dog. So that was not really fun.

With love,
Kwon Soonyoung

Soonyoung massaged his hand after sealing the envelope and slumped against his chair, looking at his ceiling, which had some of his pictures with his friends with dates scribbled on them.

His walls were reserved for Chan's letters for him so he can read them over and over and over. Every time he does, he feels a tug on his heartstrings. Chan's next letter was soon, he reminded himself.

He got up and stretched, deciding to practice a bit more for his project, but quietly just so he wouldn't wake up his parents and Jooheon.

"Say my name, say my name . . ." Soonyoung muttered as he danced along to the rhythm in his head.

He suddenly stopped as a picture dropped from the ceiling and in front of him.

He picked it up and turned it over to check the message behind it.

"Soonyoung, here is a picture of me. Sorry I look ugly! My mom took the picture and I didn't know. :)"

Soonyoung smiled and hugged the picture close to his heart.
