The sound Sans' feet rapidly crunching against the snow filled the silence of the snowy forest as he continued to dash along the path, following the reckless footsteps the kid left behind.

He knows he shouldn't be out here. Otherwise, he'll end like last time, and he had a feeling that when Papyrus finds him, he won't go easy this time around. But after seeing what that kid almost do to Toriel, he knew he can't let this brat free.

If they somehow reached the other monsters, his friends, Papyrus...

Just the thought of it urged him to go on, until he finally spotted the kid just standing before the large gate that led to the bridge towards Snowdin. The kid just stood there, a devilish look plastered themselves on their face along with their now crimson red eyes. They looked like they were expecting him to come.

Sans sensed this and stopped in his tracks whilst preparing himself for battle.

"I had a feeling you'd be the one to follow me out here.", a demonic voice escaped Frisk's mouth, "I'll take care of you first before I kill the rest of your species."

Within jus a millisecond, they darted forward with great speed, the knife pointed straight at Sans. He managed to swing to the side, his eye sockets filled with nothing but blackness.

A dozen bones were summoned, then shot through the rapidly, each aiming for the kid's SOUL. One of sans eyes were now blazing a bluish color as the bones kept firing nonstop. Frisk dodged from one bone after the other, the same maniac smile on their face they made a quick dash towards Sans, knife ready to strike. When they were just a feet away, Sans teleported on the last second right before the the weapon was swung at him. He appeared just a few yards behind Frisk, raising his hand up, a head of a Gaster's Blaster, appearing just above him.

But once he did, he felt the strong pain from wound he had from Papyrus searing through his body. He immediately clutched his chest. He forgot that he was still in the middle of healing. But Frisk gave him no time to recover and they made another dash.

Sans was still crouched on the ground as he tried to to block the kid's path by blasting at them, but the kid only jumped to the side, Sans' blaster disappearing to thin air afterwards. He just watched helplessly as Frisk lunged forward, knife glinting in the dim sky as it was brought down. He closed his eyes and waited...

PING!

The knife made contact, but only to a familiar, thick diamond barrier that shielded protectively around Sans. He opened his eyes, causing them to widen even more as he saw you standing before him, your back facing him and your arms spread out wide in front of you.

You were panting as you glared at Frisk, who was taken aback by your action and jumped back. The shield slowly faded around you, dropping your arms to your side.

Frisk just growled at you, their eyes glowing red from the dark shades of their bangs. But before you could say a word, a few bones appeared out of nowhere and they fired themselves at the kid. Frisk quickly noticed this and successfully dodged as they rolled out of the way. They took one last look at you and Sans, before instantly running off into the woods, disappearing from sight.

Right as they were out of sight, you slumped down, dropping to your knees. All that running the excitement must've drained your energy somehow.

You then heard Sans shuffling behind you and spotted trying to get up. You directly stopped him before he did, "We have to go after them!", he demanded, still clutching his chest painfully. But you wouldn't budge, "No! Not when you're in this condition! We have to get your wounds checked!"
