Josh woke up, smiling excitedly. For some reason, he was really excited to see Simon.
Quickly getting ready, Josh ran out the door, practically flying down the street to the school.
Walking through the gate, he looked around for Simon before noticing something that made his stomach twist into a knotted mess. His smile immediately dropped, replaced with a look of pure hatred as he stormed towards the scene, causing many people to literally jump out of his way.
"And just what do you think you're doing?" He asked, his voice booming across the entire schoolyard.
The two boys that the question was aimed towards froze before slowly turning around, leaving their victim cowering on the ground.
"Oh. Sorry...." the tallest of the two turned to his shorter friend. "Josh?"
The shorter nodded before looking back at Josh and wincing.
Josh wasn't well known around the school, but his death stare was something no one wanted aimed at them.
"We'll be going now." The shorter nervously laughed before the two Cals raced out of there.
As Josh turned back to Simon, his gaze softened as he looked down at the boy. He noticed the boy struggling to sit up as tears streamed down his face, letting out small whimpers of pain.
Josh leaned down and picked up the struggling boy, pretending to ignore how light he felt. He started walking towards the nurse's office.
Simon slowly fell asleep as Josh was stopped by Tobi and Vik.
"What are you doing Josh?" Tobi asked.
"Taking him to the nurse's office, what else?" Josh replied.
Vik and Tobi gave each other a look. "Why?"
"I... I don't know." Josh frowned.
His two friends shrugged and left for class, leaving Josh to look down at the sleeping boy in his arms.
"What are you doing to me Simon?"
