The snow fell gentle on the ground as if a white sheet spread across the land and where the trees let go of there leaves, creating a skeleton in which was covered by the snow. The lake frozen with ice , the fresh cold winter air zapped through your body as you left the comfort of your warm home. The beautiful atmosphere took over you giving you a sense of belonging. Suddenly laughs and screams of happiness filled the air, as Winter and Jack took to the frozen lake "Come on Jack! ".Winter called .Jack looked at her with patience, but smiled sweetly to her. "OK ".He replied ,his voice charmingly soft , his brown pointed hair blew gently th small breaks of wind , his hazel Brown eyes lay delicate on Winter. Little did they know ,that on this winter day, everything would change and their fates decided .
"Jack, I'm scared". Winter said, her light chocolate eyes filled with fear ,her small pale hands trembling. Jack looked ,at her fearfully, his soft eyes lay on her, focused ,desperate to help her. "Don't worry ,I won't let you fall in, nothings going to happen , I promise, your going to be fine I promise". Winter stared at him with hope ,then suddenly the ice beneath her began to break."Jack!". She screamed, her body frozen with fear. Jack leaped forward pushing her out the way to safety. A small yelp escaped her as she fell backwards on the hard, cold surface .Her eyes flashed up to Jack to see a warm smile on his face, letting lose a small chuckle ,she then replied back with a small grin. But then 'CRACK'. The ice under Jack broke with a chilling sound. "Jack!". Winter shrieked desperately crawling towards the centre of the frozen lake her shocked wide-eyes searching the dark depths of the lake but still found no trace of Jack. Later on the evening ,Winter cried all night for the loss of Jack her friend her protector little did she know that in time fate would intertwine their fates once more.
10 Years Later
Winter sat quietly on a fallen tree on the outskirts of the lake, the very lake that ten years ago Jack was taken by. taking a deep breath she stood her eyes focused on the ice. Slowly, Winter stepped onto the frozen over lake suddenly the grew wind stiff and the atmosphere silent. Winter closed her eyes as she grew closer to the centre of the lake from when Jack drowned ,"Come on Winter, you can do it." She whispered to herself she began to smile with confidence as she began to swirl and dance elegantly over the ice. However she was completely unaware of what was about to happen. The ice under her was breaking Winter realized what was happening and quickly leaped for safety but she missed and fell into the icy, cold water. Her body shook with realization of the striking chill of the water ,however very quickly the strength started to disappear from Winters body as she drifted further and further down.Night fell over the land as Winters body floated calmly in the water her eyes still closed her brown hair hung loose in the weak water streams.The eluminous moonlight shone in rays through the thin ice surface then slowly Winters body began to rise her eyes re-opening every few seconds ,the moon's glow became more brighter as Winters body rose higher towards the surface.Afterwards small crackles emerged from the ice.It was breaking!.Winters eyes flashed open as the cold fresh air zapped her lungs back to life after holding after clenching her last breath inside of her for so long.She gasped as her head rose from the icy depths underneath her the ice stitched itself back together like a magnet.Soon after the broken ice formed Winters pale bare feet stood on the blue-silver ice once more.Her gracefull eyes gazing at the memorizing moon an it's pearly surrounded shine. And this is where the adventure really begins.
