In the hallway, Paul approached his friends.
"Guys, have you heard about what happened last night?" Paul asked them.
"What happened?" Kean asked him and he was eager to know what happened.
"A girl was stabbed to death inside her car. And the killer was proved to be in the backseat when he attacked her" Paul narrated the horrifying news.
"Where did this incident took place?" Candice asked
"In Santa Monica Boulevard, the girl was also believed to be on her way home when this happened" Paul added.
"That place was fucked up" Joe added.
"Hey, isn't that story familiar to the man in the back seat?" Kean asked.
"What do you mean?" Candice responded to his question.
"It's a popular urban legend about the killer who appeared in the backseat of the car and killed the woman" Kean answered. They never thought that someone like him would consider believing in urban legends. Because for them, it was just another murder case.
"Come on, Kean. This is no joke, she was murdered because someone is out there to kill her and its just a coincidence" Candice answered.
"But what if someone was trying to make it parallel with urban legend?" Kean asked.
"That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my whole life, I swear" Candice complained while twirling her blonde hair.
"Haven't you heard about what happened to the babysitter when she was left out to take care of the two kids, they were all murdered but before that the babysitter received several phone calls from a stranger" Kean was interrupted
"So what's the connection?" Candice asked with confusion. She was trying to prove that urban legends doesn't exist.
"It doesn't make any sense, there are lots of killers out there out to kill whoever they wanted to but it doesn't mean that they are making it similar to the urban legends and why would they even consider doing that? To make the legend look real?" Joe added. He made a point with his statement. Why would someone dare to kill and make it parallel to the urban legends just to make it believable or surreal
"I know, but it happened last week near a dilapidated house. The same thing happened with one of the most popular urban legends entitled 'The babysitter and the man upstairs' so can you provide any explanations for that?" Kean was trying to explain his side.
He knew that there might be someone, making it parallel because there is a connection between a murder case and the urban legend. Even though, it might sound strange he is eager to know the real deal between the murders happening near their place.
"It's hard to believe" Candice answered
"Anyways, what happened to Sophia? Why didn't she go to school today?" Paul tried to change the conversation because he knows that it was starting to be an argument.
