All I do is stand here, and take some deep breaths.

I make way out of the room and take the elevator downstairs. There are a lot of students.

I enter the hall, and sit in the middle and someone slides next to me, "Hi there. I'm Jasmine."

"Hello I'm Lydia."

"Nice to meet you."

"Like wise." I smile at her, and focus again looking forward.

"So, I've heard your roommate is Ryan, and oh my god, he's so hot. Any girl would wanna be roommates with him, you're so lucky though.. Girl, don't go falling for him, he's a player." She says and my head swings to left to look at her.

"No, you have to be kidding me." I say. "We can always swap rooms, if you want."

"I would love that."

Just as I want to say something the principle tapes the microphone with his hand, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Rosewood College." He says and the hall fills with applause.

He lifts up a finger to us to stop clapping, "This college is one of the best in the world, and we get one hundred percent pass rate on all our students. We don't have failures, we have successful students reaching for their dream. Now for the rules, we don't litter, I know this may seem, funny, but let me see you litter and your days here at Rosewood College are over. No cellphones during lecturing, unless you're given permission. Girls, no short skirts, and boys, no walking half naked. No switching dorm rooms with any student." He says and I glare at Jasmine.

"It'll be fine." She whispers, and I nod.

The principal talks and I just listen. I have to take this serious, my career is on the line, I can't mess this up. I want to become a doctor, so I have to study hard, and focus, but the things is blood.

I imagine myself people calling me Dr. Blackwell, I need to focus, and study hard, if I want that title.

"Lydia?" Jasmine says and I look at her.

"Huh?"

"The principle is talking to you." She says and I turn my head to look at the principle standing next to me.

"Yes sir?" I question.

"I said I need great results from you, as your mother was in this college and gave the school a great image. I expect the same from you."

"I will try my best, and I'm sure I'll make you proud." I say and he nods and walks away.

We all stand up and walk to our dorms, and I feel someone grab my arm and I turn to look at Ryan, I suppose?

"Wanna grab a cup of coffee?" He asks and I just stare at him, in a confuse face.
