Seeing Him

Your POV

I walked back into the hallway, still giddy off of the jokes the girls and I had made.

So far this school seemed really weird and strange, but that's a good thing. It just shows that everyone is accepted here, even after Chad's rule.

I looked at the time and realized I only had about 3 minutes left to get to homeroom, which was not good!

I started bolting through the halls. Oh! And it did not help that my homeroom was on THE OTHER FREAKING SIDE OF THE WHOLE FREAKING SCHOOL!

I ran past the Drama club and the Dance club, until I found myself standing in front of a dark hallway.
Not caring what it was, I ran through it anyways.

Suddenly a guy popped out of the shadows, he had short black hair with a large purple streak in it, purple eyes, and a stylish black cloak. He looked Hispanic like me.

"Come with us to become em-" "SORRY NO, GOTTA RUN BUT THANKS!" I ran past him, not wanting to be late for class.

And I swear I could hear him say, "Rude" in a British accent.

I kept on running, making it out of the dimly lit hallway, only to be blinded by the sudden light.

I tripped, causing my bag to spill open and all of my supplies fall onto the ground. I looked down at the glittering concrete bellow me, eyes widening. Bracing myself for impact, I closed my eyes and put my hands up to my face, only to hear foot steps running towards me.

I braced myself for the hard impact.

I waited...

And waited...

And waited...

WHY WOULDN'T THE STUPID GROUND COME!

I slowly opened my eyes, to find myself looking right at... A camera face?

The boy that had caught me was tall and slender, he wore a green and white baseball T, sleeves only going down to his shoulders. His dirty blonde hair scattered across bits of his face, having a slight curve at the bottom. He wore light blue jeans with red nikes, they looked faded.

All of this made him have a cool casual look.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked nervously, his one eye filled with worry.

I nodded my head slowly, still staring at him.

He stared back, making me look away from his glare. It wasn't a "hey, back off (!)" glare, more of a "hey, why are you looking me like that(?)" glare.

I blushed, realizing our close contact. I pulled away, ending our short embrace, pulling a hair behind my ear. We stood there for a while until my eyes took a sneak peek of the clock.

"Shoot!" I said out loud. "Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot!!!"

I bent down and started picking up all of my books, stuffing them lazily into my backpack.

No, no, no, no, no! This can't be happening! I already got here in the middle of the year, I can't be late to my first class!
