I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm, I groan as I turn it off. I hate waking up in the mornings, who even thought of having school in the MORNING. Darn it! No point arguing with myself even if all the students debated about moving school time to later in the afternoon so we can sleep in a bit more... nothing would change. So having the dreadful life students have to face, I half-heartedly get out from my super comfy bed rubbing my eyes and letting my feet drag me to my ensuite bathroom.

I face my mirror and look what a mess I'm in, my hair is all over my face. I try my best to make as much effort as possible to fix it with my hand, and guess what? It doesn't work, I finally give up and take my brush and run it through my hair, I leave my dark brown hair gracefully hanging below my shoulders like I always do and I like it that way. Now that my hair looks somewhat presentable, I start working on my face.

Since it's my first day I think I'm going to exfoliate my skin. I don't wear much makeup, so my morning isn't as stressful.... ok apart from waking up, I just put on some mascara and a cotton candy lipstick and I'm done since it's school I'm not gonna go with the fuss of contour and highlighter.

I look down at my phone screen and look at the time, 7:40 am. School starts at 8:15 and I think Toby said it takes ten minutes by car. I quickly get my outfit that I put on my dresser last night, I decided to go for my favourite colours teal and white, well black is my favourite colour too but the colours would clash with my outfit. I chose teal skinny jeans, a striped white top with gold incorporated in it, a white blazer, and a pair of tan heels, to finish off the look I wore a teal jewelled necklace and it looked super cute. I take a good look at myself in the mirror and give myself a little pep talk.

"Ok Amy, this is your home and this is where you live, yes you had a bad past but you need to forget about it, it's time to move on. Your gonna go out there make new friends and get good grades. Show them who you are."

After practically looking at myself in the mirror which seemed like forever I abruptly pick up my backup and head out the door, but not before picking up my iPhone. As I get down the stairs I see Tyler devouring a big pile of pancakes topped with blueberries and raspberries just as I get down the stairs I can clearly see the pancakes are literally swimming in maple syrup. Speaking of swimming...

"Morning brother dearest, did you enjoy your late night swimming yesterday?" I say trying to hold back my laughter. As soon as he hears me he puts his knife and fork down and turns to look at me clearly annoyed.

"Get lost Annoying Amy unless you want me to pour a bottle of water on you again." He says smirking.

"Haven't you learned your lesson yet? Oh well, maybe I should push you into the swimming pool, again" I retort, having said that his eyes widen and he sighs as he gets back to his breakfast fully aware that he just lost against me. Well, that shut him up. One point for Amy, POW!

"Tyler! Hurry up!!" I shout from outside the house. Tyler definitely takes his time to take in every second of being out of school. He just hates the word 'school'.

"I'm coming, I'm coming, keep your hair on!" He snaps, and I roll my eyes. We get into Tyler's Mercedes C-Class Coupé Silver-Grey which he just ordered a few days before we came here, I helped him choose the model since he wanted to make it a statement so I suggested this. Yes, I know my cars, and might I add Tyler is pretty attached to his new car Thanks to me. The first day we came here I was pretty tired so I just went to my room, but Tyler, on the other hand, couldn't wait to try out his new car so he went around the city showing off his expensive vehicle.
