Behind the Mask ~ (young Peter Hale FF)

i open the door and we walk inside the totally quiet classroom. "and who are you" i hear a male voice ask. i look at Lila hoping that she would answer him but no. "well, uhm... i'm Taylor and this is Lila. we're new..." i say awkwardly. "fair enough, Lila you can sit next to Derek and Taylor... you can go sit next to Jade"( picture of Jade on the right :) ) he says pointing at Derek and a blond girl in the back. i walk towards the empty table and sit down. "today we start a new assignment. you'll be partnering up with your neighbor. it's going about the history of Beacon Hills." i hear why's and no's but then i turn to Jade. "so, you know anything about the history of beacon Hills?" "are you talking to me?" she asks me. "we're neighbors so we're partners right?" i ask and give her a small smile. "oh...yeah" she gives me a smile back. "you can work on it right now untill this class ends." i hear the teacher yell. "what if we go work on it at my place after school?" i ask her. she gives me a weird look. did i said something wrong? "oh... yeah i'll meet you after school at the parking lot?" i nod at her and our class just ended.

***end of school***

i hope Jade come's soon. and don't like standing here with all people looking all weird at 'the new girl'. "why are you standing here?" i hear Peter say from behind me. "not that it's any of your concern but I'm waiting for Jade" i say annoyed. "like the Jade in your class?" "yeah who else?" he doesn't answer me and i walk up to Jade who is watching from a distance. "you ok ?" i ask her. "i just... don't really like him" "nobody likes him" i smile at her and we go on my motorcycle home.

***home***

"i'm home" i yell but i guess Talia isn't home. she would already be here and welcome her guest. but i can hear 2 people in the living room. i walk with Jade at my side to the 2 teenagers. it's Derek and a girl? "hey who's this?" i ask him. "this, is my girlfriend Jacobine" he says smiling and pointing at the blond girl. "hey, I'm Taylor and this is Jade. nice to meet you" i see and me and Jade smile at her. she gives one back and me and Jade walk to my room.

Derek's POV

i hope Taylor isn't going to be jealous because she and i kissed once. i know it didn't mean something, at least for me it didn't, but still. i also didn't tell Jacobine but i just need to find the right timing, and that isn't now.

***flashback***

tonight is the full moon. i know it's just like the other ones but this feels different. i already can feel the hair that is growing on my body. i look at my hands and i don't see my nails, i see claws. i concentrate and take a deep breath. i turn back to my normal human self at the moment i hear a girl scream. i run in the direction of the scream and i now recognize it's not a scream but a growl. i run towards her and see that she shifted and i take a step back. she notice me and block her hand which she tried to hit me with. without hesitation i break her arm. i hold her down at the ground and after a few seconds she is a full human again. i decide to take her back home because she is crying from the pain.

when we arrive at my house she is calmed down. "what's your name?" i ask her. "you just broke my arm, you really think i'm going to tell you my name?" she gives me as response. "well, i'm Derek and i'm sorry i broke your arm. i just had to. if you don't want to say your name that's fine by me." i say. "fine, it's Jacobine. can i go now?" she asks me. i nod my head and within a second she's gone.

***end flashback***

Taylor's POV

after 20 minutes we are halfway at our project. "so, you wanna watch a DVD?" i ask Jade and she nods. just at that moment Lila walks in. "get out  need to do my homework." she says to us. "can't you do that somewhere else?" i ask her slightly annoyed. "no." i give Jade a look and we walk out of the room. i can hear that Peter is in his room. i grab Jade by her wrist and walk to Peter's room.

i knock on the door. "Derek, i don't need to know everything about your sex life." he says. i open the door looking at an annoyed Peter. but when he sees me his face looks more happy... i walk in and look with my best puppy eyes at him. "Peter, can we please please please, watch a movie in your room?" i whine. "why can't you watch it in your room?" he says sighting. "Lila is making her homework and Derek is downstairs if you didn't already knew" i say sad. "fine." he says and i give him a hug. i quickly step back when i realize it. we stand awkwardly on the opposite of each other when Jade come's into the room. she pulls me further into the room and i see behind me that Peter is leaving. could it be more awkward...
