Behind the Mask ~ (young Peter Hale FF)

"someone has to stand on Peter's shoulders" i whisper to them. "you go, it's your boyfriend" Laura says. i roll with my eyes and Peter kneels down for me. "do you wanna Marry me" he says. i slap him. "shut up and help me up" i say sitting on his shoulders. he slowly stands up, i can't look trough the window though so i have to stand up. i look around me, the only thing i can grab is the wall... or Peter's head of course but we'll flip over. my claws appear and i use them to steady myself while standing up.

after a lot of, almost, falling i can finally look into the hideout. i can only see a women, standing on watch. she doesn't look strong though.

i jump off Peter's shoulder and walk to the doors. "you're sure about this?" Laura asks me. i quickly nod at her and open the doors. we take a sprint into the house so we can hide behind a bookshelf.

the women i saw earlier walks into the direction of the door. Peter doesn't hesitate and jumps on her. he covers her mouth with his hand so she can't scream for help. he takes something out of his pocket, i see it's an injection needle. he sticks it in her shoulder and the white stuff goes into her body. she struggles for a couple seconds but then she passes out, i think. "you didn't kill her, did you?" i ask him. "of course not, because that would be really weird" he says, sarcastically. he grabs her by her arms and lays her down behind the bookshelf where we where hiding earlier. i use my werewolf ability's and i can smell Jade, she somewhere close. i look around and see a big door at the end of the room. i don't bother telling the others so i just run to it. i try to open it but its locked. someone pushes me away, i see it's Peter. he grabs the door nob and pulls it out of the door. that's one way to get in... i look around, there's a chair in the middle of the room with something in it. not sure what or who it is though... i take a few steps forward and see that the 'thing' is called Jade. how didn't i know that earlier?

we cut her lose and i give her a tight hug, she totally shaking. "are you alright?" i ask her. she pulls back. "not talking about the whole kidnapping thing, i'm great" she jokes. i grab her by her wrist and pull her out of the room. all four of us run towards the door. "you haven't seen Jacobine, have you?" Laura asks Jade. "no sorry" she says. "but i have, kind of" Peter says while walking toward an old big painting. he cuts it open with his claws and an entrance appears. i look at him confused. "i heard something" he says and we all follow him inside. on the end of the, not so long, hall is a staircase. we walk downstairs and see an old man and Jacobine!

me with my stupid head falls over and the man turns around. he grabs Peter by his arm and point a gun at his head. "Peter!" i scream and try to run to him but i get pulled back by Laura. "don't hurt him, please!" i beg him. an evil smile appears on his face. "you must be Taylor, i have heard so much about you" he says. "let him go, you asshole!" i scream at him. "let's play a game" he says calm. "i don't have time for your stupid games!" i yell, tears filling my eyes. "you can choose, i'm going to shoot one of your friend. so who's it going to be?" he says. "fuck. you." i say could. "let's have it your way then" he point the gun at Peter's chest and pulls the trigger. Peter screams in pain. knowing the hunters, there is probably wolfsbane in it.

he wants to shoot again but Jacobine grabs his arm and breaks it. she punches him in his face and he falls over, fainting. i run over to Peter. "i'm fine, really" he says, smiling up to me. "how did you break free?" i ask Jacobine. "well, he wasn't pointing his gun at me or injecting me with wolfsbane so i used my strength..." she says. i nod at her comment.

"how are we going to explain this to everyone?" Laura says. "i'm sure they'll understand" Jade comforts her. "i hope you're right" she mumbles.

after a ride of 15 minutes we arrive at the Hale's Mansion. me and Laura both take on of Peter's arms and walk towards the door. "do we knock?" Laura asks. i roll with my eyes and ring the bell. after a couple seconds the door flies open and Talia stands in the door way. "bring him inside" she says, stepping out of our way. we walk inside and lay him on the couch. "get the bullet out" Talia demands me while walking to the kitchen. i lift his shirt up and his almost perfect abs appear. there's blood everywhere so that's what makes it almost perfect... god this looks disgusting. "let me do it" Jade says while pushing me back slowly.  i look at her confused but take a step back. she grabs a spoon from the table and uses it to take out the bullet. after a short struggle the bullet is out. i can already see that he's healing.

"how did you do that?" i ask Jade. "i always wanted to be a doctor".
