After a while we get to the West Ship. It's more dark and eerie than I remember it.

Me and my siblings had so many memories here. Some good, some bad.

"Myra, come play with us!" My siblings would say.
We would pretend to be explorers when Mom was busy. We would search the ship, taking anything pretty, and taking it back home as prizes.

We swim inside the broken place. I look to the corner where I got my Mark.

"Come on, Myr. If you want to keep playing with us then you have to go to the corner and get the bag." Almeta said slyly.

"Why don't one of you get it?" I ask shakily.

Phillip and Genevieve look scared. Almeta insists, "Don't be a baby. Now go!" She ends with a laugh.

I swim over to the corner slowly. I reach for the bag, but a loud crash comes from behind me and I hear Genevieve scream. I spin around. A massive shark has cornered my siblings, his teeth bared. Phillip says, "Myra! Go get help!" I find myself in front of my siblings, my arms outstretched.

Genevieve hisses, "What are you doing?!"
I growl at her and the shark. "Do not, I repeat, do not, touch my siblings. Swim off, and no one gets hurt." The shark growls at me, showing massive teeth. It's obviously a Great White. He moves towards me a little, and I get in his face, still protecting my siblings. "Leave us, or else."
It whimpers and swims away. I turn to my siblings and cross my arms. They all start apologizing and thanking me. Genevieve hugs me tightly.
Suddenly I feel a small pain in my collarbone area. A flash of silver light emits from that spot and there's a tingling sensastion. My tail is buzzing and my arms have pina and needlea in them. A loud ringing is coming from nowhere, and covering my ears doesn't help.
Phillip gasps. Ali stares at me, and Genevieve lets out a little scream.
"What are you guys looking a-"
I look down to where they're staring, and there is a silver Great White shark smiling up at me. My eyes widen unintentionally. I just got my Mark.

"Myra, are you okay, lass?"

I'm snapped back into reality.
"Huh? Oh yeah, fine, fine. Just memories." I take a deep breath. I hear hushed whispers. Then my name.

"Myra? Is that you, sis?"
Genevieve swims out with Phillip on her tail. "Thank Poseidon you're alright! You had me worried sick!" She hugs me tightly, and I hug her even tighter.
I feel an awkwardness between the boys, so I break free. I hug Phillip. A surprised grunt comes from Henry and I look over to see that Geneivieve is hugging him. I grin, but that happiness turns almost immediately to seriousness.

"Alright. What's the plan?"

*************

I look around at my childhood playplace. So much has changed. Barnacles are everywhere, more parts of the wood and glass are falling, nails rusted, wood rotten. It's sad. Genevieve comes up to me.

"M? You alright? You look.... forlorn? I don't know." She says quietly only so I can hear. I hug myself and nod.

"Yeah.. it's just that I haven't been this close to... Mom since.. y'know. Her funeral." I breathe out, almost on the verge of tears. She nods understandingly.

"I have something. Of hers, I mean. She wanted me to give it to you when you were ready, and I think you're ready now." She digs something out of her small pouch. Usually she holds shells and human stuff in it. She holds out her fist, and she drops something in my hand.

It's Mom's necklace.

I choke back a sob. I turn it over in my hands and lace it through my fingers. It has the same piece of pink stone on a golden chain. I put it around my neck and I kiss it gently. "I miss her, G," I say sadly. "I miss her a lot."
