Chapter 3

It was a in September when things had gotten bad. Scorpius was unwell due to his mothers heath . It was on the train when Albus had asked how his mother was . Scorpius only replied with , " just ...come to the funeral." It was a short time between the train ride and the funeral . His mother had died 2 weeks later. Both Albus and y/n had kept their promises .

It was after when all the guest gathered at Malfoy manor when Scorpius had broke.

Scorpius had grown over the summer he was much taller and slim . His features had a more mature look . He had dressed in men's clothes for the funeral . He really did look like Draco . He stood by a small table that held a picture of his mother smiling and looking at baby Scorpius then Draco came and gave Astoria a kiss upon the forehead . It was one of scorpius' favorite pictures . He hated feeling like this . He suddenly felt a light hand in his shoulder . Her turned to see y/n standing behind him.

she too looked more mature . Scorpius didn't know what to expect as a respect from her. She did something though . Something he never expected . She leaned in and gave him a tight hug . Her arms on his back under his arms . He wrapped his arms tightly around her up back . That's when he cried. More then when she had actually died . He cried and cried tears falling from his eyes . Is Grey eyes that matched his fathers had become red and puffy from crying . She held him as he cried she too had a small tear slip from her eye she hated to see her best friend like this . Scorpius pulled away and looked at her . He took his pointer finger and whipped the single tear from y/n cheek. She took out a white soft cloth and whipped away Scorpius's tears before planting a small kiss on his cheek. She had only now noticed how much older he looked in the dress clothes . She took his hand and turned him to face the photo again. She took her wand out and made a small flower appear a signal white tulip. She led Scorpius out of the empty room and down to we're all chatter was. There they ran into Albus again. Scorpius for the second time to say hugged him . It was painful for you and Albus to see him like this .

The three had stuck together after that. Through Albus' event and also Scorpius' third year was hard for them . All of them trying to find out who they are after what each had I countered that year . All the family problems that is .
Y/n had thought that they would be even closer in fourth year but that didn't happen for she didn't see the two boys at all. She had seen them at the platform but then after that she didn't see either of them . She had made new acquaintances. Y/n still had the smooth year motionless look and seemed not smile or laugh but gave a small smile once in a while. Fourth year was when y/n had gotten a boyfriend for the first time. His name was Justin Wood. He was a keeper for Gryffindor. He was quite popular because his father was a player for puttlemore united . The boy had taken an interest in the quiet girl that kept to her self. He had seen her beauty and fell in love. Y/n new that he had only asked her to be his girlfriend because he was in love with her looks. Y/n had said yes to show him that a girl is more than looks. He had learned and truly like y/n for who she was. He grew to know her more than Scorpius and more than Albus. It was over the summer when Wood broke up with her . They had ended on good terms they had both felt that they weren't right for each other and finally called it off . This had made Scorpius happy for when he came back from the adventure he had he saw that she had found someone . And through the adventure he had he had realized that he liked her much more then a friend . He had found the courage to tell her but he realized that Albus Scorpius And y/n had fell out . Over the summer he along with Albus sent letters apologizing and explaining what happened . Y/n had said it was fine and to all of their relief they became friend again . They felt as though nothing had happened . Y/n read all their letters about what happened . They wrote with so much emotions that she grew even more drawn to them. She tried hard to become a more out going person but she new she would only be like that when she is with the two boys again next year .
