Summer green never looked better,
Than it did adorning your sweater,
You're smile was bright,
My heart you did ignite,
And for a brief moment,
I saw stars in your eyes.Your lips were full,
Your life never dull,
I thought about a kiss,
It was my only wish,
And for a brief moment,
You loved me too.You said you were happy that I picked you,
But you were my only choice ever,
I knew I'd love you in all seasons,
All weather,
And for a brief moment,
You saw a future with me too.A windy day,
A stormy night,
I kept you up,
We were loosing the fight,
I said commit,
And you did too,
And for a brief moment,
I believed in you.In your eyes I saw moons,
And valleys and creeks,
My wonder in you was deep,
You stared into my soul as well,
And for a brief moment,
My life wasn't hell.We descended into nothingness,
You said you lost all feeling,
And for a brief moment,
I wasnt sad,
But he left,
And my life feels like death.
