Love Story
Sarahbella and Ana were walking down the street holding hands while getting stares from the passers. They didn’t care though, they loved each other. As they were walking a woman comes up. She looks disgusted at them. Ana asks, “What? Why are you looking at us like that?” The woman replies, “Ew. ‘It’ talks.” Sarahbella interjects, “Don’t talk to my girlfriend like that. She’s a human being too, you know.” “Ew. You two are together? Don’t you know that you’re going against the bible? All gays should go to hell.” “Look, I don’t know who you are-” “Oh, my name’s Elise,” the woman says. “Look, Elise, I don’t know who you are to be going around and saying things like that. We don’t hate on straight relationships, why the hell do you have to hate on ours?” says Sarahbella. “Because you are going against god! Against the bible! It’s inhuman! You don’t belong here!” Sarahbella and Ana walk away. Elise is still screaming horrible things behind them which is attracting a crowd. Sarahbella starts to run, pulling Ana behind her, who is now in tears. “Ana, baby, don’t cry. What she said is untrue. We do belong here, otherwise God wouldn’t’ve made us.” Ana’s tears start to slow down. “You’re right. Nothing she said is true. None of it.” They walk back to their house.
