“What? Why do you feel the need to stare at me?” I looked up to see where that voice came from. I wish I hadn’t. with her scent, I could tell she was a vampire. Why? Why did she have to be a vampire? Why couldn’t she have been human? She started walking down my row. Five desks in front of me. Four… Three… Two… One… She stopped right beside me and her blue eyes darkened. I opened my mouth to say a smart remark like, take a picture it lasts longer, but she beat me to talking. “Don’t you dare say it. I will never ever be yours. I’m not something you can take.” Well damn. Wait. How did she know I was going to say that? “Newsflash dude, we ‘bloodsuckers’, as most people call us, can read minds.” She whispered. Oh. “Oh.” She mocked. “Class, open your books to-.” The bell rang. I looked behind me to see that she left already. Damn vampires and their super speed.
