New Kid

Jason just moved to a new school. As he walked in so many people were staring. It started to piss him off, but scare him at the same time. Do people not have anything better to do than to stare? It’s rude. Jason thought. He just kept walking though. The office people handed him his schedule and said nothing so he didn’t know where his classes were and he didn’t want to ask. As he was walking to his locker, people started to shove and push him. “Haha, look, we got ourselves another gay,” one kid said and pushed Jason to the ground. Jason didn’t understand how they knew though. He made sure specifically not to say anything or do anything that would make it pop out. He got up and started walking before he noticed that his locker wasn’t down here. “Need some help?” Someone asked from behind him. Turning around, he said, “Please. Haha.” “My name’s Max. What’s yours?” Max asked. “Jason,” he replied. “Well, Jason, how’s being new at this high school working for you?” Max asked. “How’d you know I was new? And not very well, as you can tell,” Jason gestured around. “Oh come on, if you weren’t new, I would’ve seen you around here before. Let me see your schedule.”
