Mess Up // Ethan Dolan

Chapter 10

Before I went to sleep completely, I felt Ethan crawl up onto the bed.

He hugged me and whispered in my ear that everything would be okay.

He then crawled back down to his bed and we went to sleep.

In the morning, when everyone woke up, we decided to go to school. Matt was nowhere to be seen so the only problems I had were bullies.

For some reason when I came back everyone was excited but after a couple of weeks it went back to normal.

After school me, Grayson, and Ethan decided to catch a movie. So, we did that and then eventually I had to go home.

Ethan came with me just in case anything happened. When I got there my dad was already there waiting for me to come home.

He asked lots of questions. He asked where I was after school and where I was before school. I explained to him everything that happened with both Matt and him, but he didn't remember bringing anyone home last night or anything. He remembered going to the bar though.

He told me that him, Gray, and E would be there to protect me, but I was still scared of him.

The next day I went to school. Matt was there, but he completely avoided me. I was happy, because he didn't bother me at all. Only his friends (the "cool" people) did.

But I didn't let any of their words hurt me a bit.

We went to school and for a couple of weeks we had zero problems with Matthew.

I was very happy, because he never talked to me. He didn't even come around me any.

His friends never hurt me physically, so I wasn't worrying any about them.

We had no problems with Matt until, St. Patrick's day.

One of his friends had a party. I didn't go, but when I seen him, I knew he was drunk.

He showed up at my house real wobbly and sloppy.

He was yelling cusswords out in my yard.

All the neighbors and everything ran out being nosey, and what no one realized was that he had a gun.
