"I lowkey missed being on campus with everyone else and I fasho missed the parties" Ariana, my best friend since our middle school days stated as we pulled up to east wing of NYU campus.

Thanksgiving break is always the shortest break.

I rolled my eyes as a few messages came through on my phone.

"Me too, I'm ready to get into some shit already" I said as I sat up in the passenger seat sticking out my tongue flipping my long jet black tresses while using my other free hand to remove my Prada shades. "Sit yo wild ass back" Jay my other best friend since our middle school days spoke as he continued to drive.

"Girl you know Meghan said that a few of her friends were transferring here" Ari said as she leaned up holding onto the sides of the passenger seat. "Hopefully they nothing like her, can't stand that girl" Herb asserted from the back seat, a laugh escaped my lips.

I always wondered why Herb and Jay had a disliking towards Meghan she actually is cool when she wanna be.

"You know when they coming?" I inquired placing my Louis Vuitton purse on my lap. "A lil later, she said she was showing them around the city and they also was supposed to go shopping for an outfit for that back from break party Kalvin throwing" she explained.

"Y'all wanna slide?" Jay queried I nodded in response as Jay pulled up by the door for the east wing building A.

"Leave the door unlocked I'm coming up" Jay ordered I nodded as I opened the passenger door stepping out the vehicle. Flipping my hair I closed the door as I put my purse on my arm strutting to the door.

A sigh escaped my lips as I reached the door, fiddling my hand around in my purse in search of my key card.

The weather in Cali is nothing compared to weather out here in New York.

Pulling out the all black card as I reached the door, I then placed the card on the key card scan and waited until a faint green light came across the scanner to open the door.

Opening the door, I held it for Ari and Herb who followed behind me "I'm gonna go to Elijah's for a few and I'll just come back when it's time to get ready" Ari stated referring to Herb by his middle name as she followed in behind Herb who was going in a different direction.

I responded with a simple 'k' and jogged up the stairs until I reached the fourth floor which was also the top floor.

Making my way over to door 196 I felt my phone began to ring in my purse. Taking my keys out my purse, I pursed my lips together as I unlocked the door twisting the knob sauntering inside.

I closed the door behind myself as I then walked over to the all gray sofa pulling my phone out bringing it up my ear as I slid the 'slide to answer'
