Jaymes's POV
Chapter 16
They're gone. Both of them. Jayden's gone. Jaylah's gone.
Jayden's in his little fairy tale land, doing who knows what. Jaylah's... well we don't know where she is and that's the problem. At least we know where Jayden is, but Jaylah could be anywhere. And the fact that she's extremely ill doesn't help. She's sick which causes her power to be uncontrolled and random.
All of us; Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, Draya, Nash, and Chas, are sat in the library. We're trying to figure out where she could be, and so far we got nothing. Grandpa's tried to track her but he said it's blurry and hard to find any clues.
We're looking through every book in the library. Draya and I got bored hours ago and now were 'reading' Jayden The Young Fella...
Jayden's POV
*Story Mode*
I was late for calculus... again.
An important attribute about me that you should know is that, I, Jayden Reese is never, and I mean never on time. No matter where I'm going, no matter where I'll be, I am always late.
"Wow, Jayden your early. I didn't expect you to arrive till ten minuets before the bell rung." My smart ass teacher, Mr. Anderson, said. I glared at him as I made my way to my seat. And, guess who was sitting right next to my desk. Cindy Ella, the new girl.
"What are you doing here?" I mumbled as I took my seat in the back of the room.
"Well, this is obviously my class." She said. Although she tried to act like a B**** it didn't work for her.
I chuckled. "Why are you sitting here?"
"Because, I want to."
"Oh I understand. Every girl in this room wants to sit by me. So I totally get it." I said cockily.
"Why in the world would I ever want to sit by you?"
"Cause I'm magically delicious." I said in a seductive voice.
She just stared at me as if lost in thought. I can bet you all my action figures that she's thinking about me. She was staring into my eyes, then she moved down to my lips, she was starring at them for a while before she licked her own then bit on it. Her breathing was quick... hyperventilation.
"Hey, Cindy. You alright." I asked concerned.
She blinked a couple of times, then looked back up at me. "Yeah." She replied in a shaky voice. She swallowed audibly then turned her attention back to the teacher.
About fifteen minuets later the bell rung. Time for third period.
I walked out of calculus thinking about what I should do till it's time to make my appearance in third period.
Starbucks!!!
"Good thinking Jayden." I said to myself.
"Wow, I never thought that a bad boy like yourself would be speaking to himself." Cindy said from behind me.
"Goodness, Cindy I know I'm hot and all, but," I started yelling, "No Cindy I will not take my pants off!"
Everyone froze and looked at us. Cindy didn't even looked embarrassed, she looked amused. She shoved me playfully and laughed. It was the first time I ever heard her laugh, it was beautiful and left me smiling.
