Harry. The air in the room was damp. We were both covered in a thin layer of sweat. After we talked one thing led to another and we ended up on the bed. One piece of clothing after another landed on the carpet. We became intimate, moving in different positions under the sheets. It felt like complete bliss.
We finished together with a few groans and whimpers then laid next to each other in silence. She had fallen asleep in my arms while I laid awake with unpleasant thoughts.
I did not want to upset her woth my past but she insisted that I admit to her everything that led up to where we are now. My eyes glanced down to her body that was rising from her breathing. I looked to see if she was awake and to my luck she was not. I pulled myself out of bed hoping to not disturb her. I walked out of the room and down the hall to be greeted by a quiet house.
"Isabella?" She sat on a chair in front of a blank television drinking a tall glass of water. She snapped her head in my direction. "Hello, Harry."
Her face was emotionless. "What's wrong? You never call me by my name.""Are you going to tell her?" She looked worried. "I have to, I can't continue lying to her." I sat down beside her before she rested her hand on my thigh. "Are you going to tell her how you met Lisa?"
"The night I met Lisa was also the first time I had to kill someone for what they did, so of course."
"And how your enemy came to be. Oh and also about you and Eliana, and-" I cut her off before she could continue. "I will tell her everything. I don't care how long it will take as long as she knows."
"Good." The tone in her voice changed quickly. "Well I guess it's time you told her." She patted my thigh and I looked at her with confusion. Her glance was on something past me. I turned and it was Rose. She was wrapped in a single bed sheet with her hair draped around her face hiding most of it. She had her head down with drooped eyelids.
"Rose, sit." I told her as Isabella left. She sat down next to me then laid her head on my shoulder. "Do you have any questions regarding my past?" I asked and she was silent, most likely thinking."Your ex, how did you two meet?" I froze, she must have heard us when Lisa was mentioned.
"Well..."
-
Past.
The lights were almost blinding when I stepped out of the club.
The club was dark and the streets were filled with red lights everywhere.
I had just walked away from a heated argument and now I was outside in the cool night air."May I have one?" An angelic voice was above me asking for a cigarette. I looked up and saw dark hair over shadowing her face. She shook her hair back to present herself.
"Why ruin a voice like that?" I asked while I handed her one anyways with a lighter. "I don't smoke all the time, it's quite rare for me." She spoke as she sat down next to me before lighting up the cigarette."So why are you out here alone?" She asked as she fiddled with the hem of my pants. I watched her fingers while her chin laid on her knee. "Huh?" She snapped her head up.
"Oh I just needed some fresh air, it's very damp in there." She nodded with an understanding. "Why are you out here?"
Her eyes went wide with fear and they lost the gaze she had on me. "Just walking around, looking for something to do." Her eyes fell to the ground.
"Alone?" My voice was filled with concern. "A girl like you shouldn't be walking around alone in a place like this.""I was with a friend he was just walking behind me." I took a second to take in her appearance. She had on a short tight dress but had a sweater to wrap herself in. She also wore exaggerated makeup along with a a head of hair that was not neat.
"Who is this friend of yours?" I asked her while trying to cover up my suspicion. "Just some guy." I scooted closer to her.
"He's not just a guy is he?" She finally looked up at me, still filled with fear. "He's your pimp isn't he?" She was frozen. "Is he?" She nodded with her eyes closed.
"I'm not proud of it." She whimpered as she held back tears. "Elizabeth!" Our heads turned into the direction of her name. A buff man stomped over to us with anger in his face. "I told you no smoking!" He pulled the cigarette out of her hand, threw it to the ground and stepped on it. "I want your ass back on the corner!" He spoke through his teeth and pointed in the opposite direction.
"She will do whatever she wants, you don't own her." I stood face to face with the man who reeked of sex and alcohol.
"Well I bought her so she's mine now, she is no longer her own person. Now Elizabeth, is this your client because if so I suggest you take him away before his skull meets the cement." His smile was grim. "Yes he's mine." She yanked my arm to pull me away but I would not budge.
He took notice to her struggle and spoke.
"Now run along and hurry because she has a list of men waiting to finish in her." My fist finally met his jaw and he lost his balance but did not fall. He cocked his head from side to side and rolled his shoulders back. He swung but I moved just in time. My hand reached behind me to my belt."Don't pull it." She spoke in a whisper. I did it anyways and pointed the weapon at him.
"You let her and everyone one of your girls go or I pull it." He raised his hands up to surrender. "Go ahead, you know the consequences if you do." I do not pause and I pulled it which did not kill him immediately. There was a shriek behind me and I whipped around to see her rush towards him but I caught her. "Don't do it, he doesn't deserve your comfort." She cried on my chest but her tears soon settled to sniffs.
People came out of places to put there eyes on the scene. They were not so surprised though.
"What the fuck?!" My friend came out of the club and he had laid his eyes upon the body on the ground, the man was barely holding onto life.
"You bastard!"
