Megan's POV

Alcohol was available at the minimum and Marcus, who arrived a couple of minutes after Amber and I  was complaining about it, driving everyone including myself insane.
"Can you just shut up?! Of course there's not enough beers, what'd you expect?" Nick snapped at him. "Oh what did I expect? I brought a keg here man! honestly? this is like the worst shit ever, what are you? 12?" He glared at Nick who just shook his head. "I say we all go to a club tonight. A couple of shots and strippers, yeah?" Marcus suggested, looking around. I however wasn't paying attention. My eyes fixated on Taylor saying something to her mom who walked back to the house. "See something you like?" A voice pulled me out of my trance. Amber was smirking and holding a bottle of rum to her lips while her eyes stayed glued on me. "I was just-", "I'm just messing with you" she giggled. "Oh" was all I could say before looking back at Taylor who was now approached by none other than Nina. "They're just friends is all. Tay broke it off between them days ago" she paused to take another swig from the bottle. I looked over to Taylor and the other girl once again and noticed her rubbing Taylors' arm soothingly then gave a kiss on her cheek before walking towards the driveway.  "Change the topic" she cleared her throat. I looked up and Taylor smiled at me, walking closer to us. "Ninas' agent called that's why she had to leave. She's doing a photoshoot with Victoria's Secret today" she scratched the back of her head and nodded at Amber. "Good riddance" Amber rolled her eyes. Taylor chuckled showing her perfect white teeth and glanced at me. "I'm really sorry, you must be bored" she apologized. "Nah I'm good. You don't have to apologize" I smiled at her. She grinned, Amber snickered. I caught a whiff of her scent as she came closer and sat on the bench next to me. It was an exotic mixture of rain, pine and lemons all blended into one. Her and Amber were having a conversation but all I could focus on was how strong her arms looked. The way her biceps showed through. She wore a white T-shirt that had a California theme to it and black skinny jeans with black combat boots. A small breeze ruffled her shirt, revealing her abs and how toned it looked. My gaze shifted to her hands and I noted how articulate and long her fingers were. God! those fingers...my thoughts traveled to what she could possibly accomplish with those fingers. I sighed to myself when my thoughts were interrupted, "Are you done checking me out?" She whispered and chuckled slightly. I looked at her to find our faces a mere inch apart. She bit her bottom lip, "You like me, don't you?". I felt my face heat up having to answer that. "Uhm w-why do you say that?" I mumbled and looked away. She chuckled amusingly, "Well you're always blushing when I talk to you, you tend to stare at me a lot and you get pretty nervous when I'm around you. Look at you, you're all flustered and shit" I scoffed and turned away from her knowing what she said is true but I'm not going to admit it. A part of me was telling me not to get involved with her but the curious side keeps asking what could possibly go wrong. I heard her laugh lightly, "What's so funny?" I gazed over to the others sitting on other table, avoiding eye contact. Suddenly her thumb and pointer tilted my chin to her direction. Before I could utter a syllable, our lips connected. My mind exploded with millions of thoughts about what we're doing, my heart thumped wildly against my chest and my stomach was screaming butterflies. It was all happening at the same time. Her lips felt a little rough against my own and tasted of vanilla and mint. But what sent me into overdrive was when her tongue slipped into my mouth and her intoxicating scent engulfed my nostrils.

"Ahem" someone interrupted and I jumped in surprise, pushing Taylor back. Amber looked at her cousin,

"Sorry to interrupt this moment but every single one of our family is here and your mama wants everybody at the table now" she  emphasized on the word now and gave us a knowing smirk before walking away.
