Chapter 3

"Let me get your other bag, hold my hand so I don't loss you or you fly away because of the wind." He said I grabbed his hand while snorting. I like this guy he funny and not bad on the eyes. We ran to his car and let's just say he was soaked and wearing a white shirt. Lord give me strength! Once we had finally ducked into his car we both were breathing heavy.

"So what do you fancy on eating?" He asked turning the car on and turning the heat up.

"Chick-fil-a if that's cool with you." I said buckling up.

"Yeah that's cool with me. So what's your address?" I told him while buckling up. "So why were you at the airport?" He asked.

"Family. My brother had gotten famous from some app. My mom thought it would be genius if she sent me to live with my dad when I was 13. My mom showed up around a week ago saying she wanted me to come back and said he would pick me up. Obviously he didn't, so he's really reliable. What about you?"

"My mom was visiting me and she lives in michigan. She had told me she met a guy a month after my dad died and now she's pregnant. She's expecting me to drop everything and move out there to live with her and Axcel, her boyfriend." He said, his hold on the steering wheel tightening. I placed my hand on his shoulder and squeezed.

"Looks like both of our moms are a little weird." I said he only nodded.

"Anyway, you said your brother is famous. Who is he?" He asked glancing at me as he pulled up to Chick-fil-a. We got out and the rain wasn't awful here but it wasn't great either. We ran inside, ordering quickly. When we sat down I remembered his question.

"Cameron Dallas." His eyes widened.

"You poor soul. Well if you ever need space from them my door's always open." He said writing his number and address on a napkin. I smiled at him as he got up to get the food. I grabbed the napkin and put it in my jacket pocket. "Here you go milady." He said sliding the tray on the table, I giggled while grabbing my food from it.

"So do you have any other siblings besides Cameron?" He asked taking a sip of his drink.

"I have a baby brother, well half brother. And an older sister but I'm not close with her." I said, he nodded. "There's also my dad's cat, and he's like a brother to me." I add, Alex chuckles and shakes his head. He looks at his phone and sighs,

"Hey it's getting late and I think the rain is about to be on top of us. Let's go." He says sounding a little disappointed. I frown and stand up following him to his car. The drive to the house we kept talking and making jokes, but when we got there I frowned. "Can I walk you to the door? If your brother is here I'd like to give him a piece of my mind." I laughed and nodded. We got out and walked to the front door I knocked a couple, then tried the door knob. Of course, no one was home and the door was locked.

"I think they forgot I was coming today, the door's locked and I don't have a key." I said infuriated, Alex put his hand on my shoulder squeezing it.

"So they made you fly here, left you alone in an unknown city, and then aren't here to let you in?! Are you fucking shitting me?!" He asked furious, I saw his hand ball into a fist as his eyebrows furrowed.

"I honestly wished I was, I'm sorry for dragging you into this. I'll look for a way in through the window and you can go home." I said looking at the windows. I felt hands on my shoulder and suddenly was turned to face Alex.

"Nu-uh, there is no way i'm leaving you here without you legally getting in." He said. "Come stay at my apartment for the night, you can charge your phone, take a shower, and I live next to 2 girls who I think you'll like. It'll just put my mind at ease that I know you are somewhere safe." He said, I looked into his eyes and he looked genuinely worried I wouldn't agree, I thought it over and slowly nodded. Alex let out a sigh of relief and smiled.
