you held a light for me,
you shone it down the path and followed me,
we walk down together,
lighting our way with the light you held,
soon enough we lit the way with the light of our smiles.
my smile was bright,
it was cause of your light,
the light you shared with me.
your smile was bright,
you always had that light,
the light you shared with me.
one day,
while walking down the path,
you took the light
into another direction,
you took the light
and went off without me.
now i'm alone,
in the darkness,
i just needed the light,
the light you shared with me,
in the dark times,
but now i'm lying alone,
in the darkest times,
waiting for your light to come back,
and show me the way.
