Chapter 18

Ok, soo I read what I wrote last chapter and realized how stupid it was... Oh well on, on to the next chapter.

Marie's POV

I was walking in the hallways making my way to my next class when I heard yelling. I hid behind a near by wall and listened in.

"What are you idiots doing?" 'Connor?'

"We're vandalizing Marie's locker." 'Awww, was he standing up for me?'  "Like you said." '............What..........'

"IDIOTS! Who's keeping watch? What if a teacher caught you!?" '...............................What..............................'

"Err, Sorry, Boss" '.............................................................What.......................................................'

"C-C-Connor? Wh-What are you doing? Why are these boy's vandalizing my locker? Why did they call you boss?"

"Shoot... You heard everything didn't you?" I slowly nodded as I felt tears roll down my cheeks.

"Why.....Why would you do something like this?" I felt myself trembling, I couldn't stop crying. I looked at my locker that the boys where vandalizing. The red spray paint spread across my locker and spelled out "Drop Dead". 'C-Connor let something like this happen? No..... Connor made this happen.'  I felt like breaking down right there.

"Oh please." I flinched when I heard Connor voice turn cold and uncaring. "you actually believed I loved you all this time? Who could love such a disgusting thing?"

"Wh-what? No...No....No.... You'd never do something like this to me! You picked me up when I was down! You took me on a date! You said you love me! I wouldn't believe it! I love you!"

"Are you really that stupid? I was toying with you! I never loved you! Learn to give up!" 

"B-B-But the-the picnic?"

"That pathetic set up?Hehehehe. I just got that from one of my sister's cheesy romance books. No actual feelings where put into that! I just wanted to see how long I could toy with you. But all that's gone now that you know.. You're no longer any use to me."

"You lied to me.."

"It's not like you didn't see it coming."

"No.... I didn't.... I DIDN'T.."

"Well then. You. Really. Are. Pathetic." An evil smile crept upon his face. With his hands in his pockets, he kicked me down and I fell on the floor. He looked at the two boys beside him. "Get her." The two boy's nodded. I trembled in fear on the floor. They came up to be and one started to kick me in the stomach while the other one punched me in my face. I cried. I sobbed. But they just kept being me up against the lockers. I was bleeding and eventually I threw up. I kept hacking and hacking, until there was nothing left inside me. And even then I kept gagging. 'C-C-Conner... betrayed me?...... he-he-he never loved me? He's h-h-hurting me? ' The boy's backed up in disgust.

"Oi! Watch it, runt!"

"Yeah, you better not get us dirty!"

"How pathetic.... she couldn't even hold in her breakfast.." 

"Oh, did she find out already?" I looked up to see Emma walking towards me. "Good. She was really starting to tick me off!" She put her foot on my back and kicked me over. Powerless, my face hit the cold floor. "Ewww! She threw up? She's not worthy enough for my man." 'Is she talking about Jack?' She walked over to to Connor and kissed him.

"B-b-but I thought..... *cough* *cough* Jack" My voice was shaky and I couldn't talk without coughing.

"Jack? Oh, I'm just going to throw him out when I get bored of him. Playing hard to get, he really spikes my interest. But Connor will always be my one and only." Emma batted her eyes and threw her arms around Connor's neck. He wrapped his arm around Emma's waist and they shared another kiss... Right in front of me. I looked at Connor.... the face of someone I once loved.... He-he was just watching me.... smiling.... Smiling at my pain. I cried even more until all I could see was black.

*GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSPPP* How could he do that to her? Me, as the author and who have complete control over EVERYTHING the characters say and do, had no idea this was going to happen!! Oooook, enough sarcasm. This book is sadly(?) coming to an end. I was thinking about deleting it because it's super cringy  and I was running out of idea's for filler chapters.. but I felt bad leaving this book without an ending.. Sooo I believe the next's chapter's the last.
