Chapter 16

Marie's POV
"How long do I have to close my eyes?" I asked flatly. Conor had been leading me to who knows what for five minutes, is this thing really that far?
"Just a little longer." His voice was soothing and his hand gently wrapped around mine as if I were a fragile object.
"Ooook, now!" I opened my eyes and saw a blanket spread out underneath a tree who's leaves were slowly drifting after they fell. It was late, so the moon shone brightly on the spot, giving a glowing aura. Along with candles around the tree. It was almost like a dream. 'Am I dreaming? If I am I don't want to wake up.' Conor took my hands once more and spoke.
"I know this is a lot to take in, I mean yesterday you probably hated me, but Marie....." He looked into my brown orbs. "I really like you." 'Why do I feel like all of this is going to disappear? I just wish this moment to last forever.' Conor reached into his back pocket and pulled out a heart shaped necklace and tied it around my neck.
"Don't you ever forget that."

(Still Marie's POV)
I arrived home and saw Jack sitting on the couch with a scowl on his face. 'Is he angry because I wasn't here to make dinner?' I looked at the time and let out a deep sigh.
"Dinner will be served in 20 minutes. Will that make you happy 'Your Highness'?" Snapping out of what ever sort of trance he was in, he looked at me with confusing.
"What? No, I don't care about that." Then he went straight back to pouting.
"Then why are you upset?.... Ooh I see! Your jealous!"
"W-what!? No way! I'm not jealous!"
"Look, I'm sorry that you just can't confess to Emma like Conor did to me,
but that's not our fault."
"Emma?!"
"Why don't you write down some ideas? I'll get started on dinner."
Jack's POV
I couldn't take it anymore, so I just left the room. 'How she possibly think I like Emma?! That self centered princess! I can't believe her! *sigh* now's not the time to think about that. I need to get Marie away from Conor somehow. But how am I going to do that without Marie hating me?'

Hey! I know I know! I was just saying how inspired I got and I'm gonna write more, but I'm trying! Anyways, sorry for the cheesy-ness, I know it was really corny and cliche but it works for the story so I'm leaving it in. Also sorry for the shortness! It's almost 11:00 for me so I'm tried.
