Chapter 5 : Training is dying

My eyes fluttered open. I noticed something sticky fluid thing on my face. I noticed that it was a saliva from a disgusting animal. I stood up immediately and saw my best friend in black camouflage pants with a white t-shirt written "specialist Bianca", beside her was a dog... No wait a minute, it's not a dog... It's a lion, a lion as big as a dog with wings, it was flying around my room, licking everything around him.

"Get up, slow poke. Training is going to start." Bianca said as she tossed me a pants and a t-shirt same as her.

"Wait! There is a lion in my room?"

"Yes, there is a lion in your room." She said. "Lucy this is Leo, Leo this is Lucy." She introduced. The lion immediately got excited and started licking my face again. My face was filled with drool.

"Okay down boy." I said as I patted his head. I was surprised that I didn't get scared.

"Lucy come on. We need to eat breakfast or else Logan will wake you up." She said, and that woke me up.

I got up in a flash and waved at her to get out. I immediately changed clothes and when I got out, breakfast was served. Logan was placing some plates and glasses on the table.

"Good morning," I said.

"Good morning, sit and decide what you'll eat." He said it like he was commanding me.

"Okay, you do not have to be bossy." I mumbled. "Anyways, there are no food on my plate."

Bianca sat beside me and said "Don't worry, Lucy. He is always bossy. And yeah, by the way, these plate and glasses are magical you say whatever food you want and it will appear."

"Okay." I said.

"Cereal and milk." Bianca said. Suddenly in her plate was a cereal and glass was filled with milk.

"Pancakes and milk." I said and as what Bianca said the food I said just appeared in my plate.

"Pancakes with a butter on top and milk will do." Logan said and the food he wished for appeared on his plate.

He was about to sit down when the lion, Leo, started turning into circles.

"Oh, yes. I almost forgot your food. Wait a minute." Logan said. He went straight into the refrigerator and took a meat, a large meat. He placed it on a silver bowl written Leo on it. Leo started eating it with his sharp teeth.

"Good boy." Logan said. Then he sat down beside us.

"So, he eats all of that for one meal?" I asked.

"Yeah, he sometimes demands for more." Logan said while patting Leo's head.

"Why does he have wings?" I asked "Normal lions doesn't have wings right?"

"Yes, normal lions doesn't have one but Leo is different. Lions like him can only live at Empyrean and here, of course. He was alone when I found him his pride was killed by those stupid fallen angels." he said in disgust.

I suddenly remember that Angel Ariel is the angel of lions. Well, I was just happy because the lion didn't bite me.

After eating, I washed our dishes and headed to the arena. The kids were separated into fifteen groups. I wonder where I am in... I suddenly saw Bianca waving at me. Then she mouthed "here". I jogged to her place and saw Leo playing around the obstacle course.

"So only the three of us?" I asked.

"Yeah, only the three of us." Logan said as he looked around the other teams.

"Before there were only the two of us but now you're here so we will win 100 percent." She said it like she already knew.

"But the others has like five or seven members, why won't someone join our team?" I asked.
