-Flashback-

_____

All around me, Jade, and Ezekiel are the evil priests, whom are pointing their staff's at us. This wasn't part of the plan, the idea was to blow up their base without being taken inside while the soldiers wait outside with no clue what to do.

"Parlay." The angel states, "What?" the demonic leader's voice questions.

"Parlay. I invoke the right of parley. According to the Code of the Brethren, you have to take us to your boss." Q explains in simple terms, "If an adversary demands parlay, you can do them no harm until the parley is complete." she finishes.

"We can't take these scum to Her-" One demon starts only to cut off, "They want to be taken to Her, and they will come with us without a fuss." the captain growls.

"Drop your weapons disrupters of peace." Loud metal clanks fill the large corridor, "Put these on behind your backs." they throw iron cuffs on the ground in front of the three of us.

Taking turns, we lock our hands up behind us. The commanding monk assigns one of his "brothers" to control each person who are me, Jade, and Ezek. Wiggling my wrists within the restraints, I test the strength of them without causing any alarm from the "handler" of me. Being lead through many dark tunnels we reach a open area, candles are lit and evenly spread throughout on the concrete floor. A being bows in the center, their white skin and a golden horn piece sticks out from the normal black and dull silver I have gotten use to seeing.

Long thick red strips of cloth cover its chest, slowly it leans up to face the group. Suddenly, now identified as a she opens her mouth allowing black tar to flood the floor without drowning out the sources of light. Standing stiff as a board we remain where our feet rest, swallowing my fears I try to reach out in the void for the Angel's or Zek's hand. The tight bands keep me from doing so, a bright light flashes in front of us. The room illuminates with the candles once more, the ghost white creature is gone.

"Edward?" Qaphsiel whimpers out turning to face my body, tears run down her red cheeks.

Turning my attention where Jade's eyes look, blood covers her small hands that shake.

"It's not mine." Is all that manages to escape the poor girl's dry lips and mouth, the dark crimson liquid oozes through her fingers.

"We have to get out of here." Ezek chirps, "Run?" I question to confirm.

With a small nod, all of us take off in the direction we trust this three came in from. Staying hand in hand, I let The Prophet lead the way through the rotten dark halls. Weird scents enter my nostrils, like iron, coal dust mixed with sticky oil, and gasoline. What type of building is this to have all these in one giant cube area? I have no intention of sticking around to find out the answer for that question.

After traveling through twists and turns inside this place, we come to a realization it's a maze. Splitting up would be the fastest way to get out but to high of risk, none of us want to separate since we laid eyes on "Her". If one of the trio get captured by the demons, the others have to leave them behind...
