<<couldn't think of a better title>>

As we arrived back at the front we were were greeted by the fox ,who yuri told me was called LT. Taylor, he approached us with a smirk “I must admit sergeant I'm impressed.” I growled quietly and handed him the cargo “what's in those crates that's so important?” he shrugged “no idea but they didn't want us to have it so it must be important.” I suck my teeth “of course.” he rolls his eyes “go to the barracks and get some rest.” I nod and we leave.

As my team went to the barracks I went to find a medic. As I was looking around I ran into LT. Taylor. He scowls at me “What are you doing?” he sounded more frustrated than angry this time. “I was looking for a medic.” I pointed to the bullet wound on my arm. He led me to the infirmary and explained that their isn't many medics because most have been stationed on the north line. Once we arrived he told me to sit down on a bench that lined the wall and he fetched some equipment. He numbed my arm and removed the bullet before using a gel to seal the wound. He helped me up “there we go good as new.” I moved my arm around. “thanks.” I smiled at him. He nodded “no problem. Now get some rest.” I head back to the barracks
I entered the barracks and sat down on a bed. Yuri came over and sat next to me. “is your arm alright?” he asked. I nodded and lay back “what's your story?” I ask him. He looked at me confused “what?” “I'm just wondering why you joined up?” I clarified. He pursed to think “I joined up because once war broke out I wanted to help defend my home.” I nod “where do you live?” “the capital” he replied. Williams laughed “you're a bit far from home.” yuri nodded “where do you come from?” I asked. Williams just pointed in the direction of the city “I didn't join willingly I was conscripted to defend the city ” he said. I was shocked to hear that “I'm sorry, I didn't know.”  he looked down and shrugged “don't worry about it” I sigh “do you have any family still in the city?” he shook his head “no, well non that are still alive anyway, I do have some friends still in their though.” he looked upset  I walked up to him and gave him a hug “I'm sorry.”I say. he hugged back. He pulled away “I'm going to get some sleep. I suggest you do too.” we all nod and I go and lie down.

Before I went to sleep Biggs asked “why did you join boss?” I looked at him “I joined because lieutenant Miller suggested I joined.” he looked surprised “you know lieutenant Miller?” he asked I nodded “we were friends back in school.” he smirked “small world.” he stretches lies down and I also decided to get some rest.
