The man pulls up at a mansion, which looks like it has been old and holds many evil spirits. Maybe it is. The man exits the car and walks over to open Graces door. She reluctantly gets out of the car.  "Welcome Miss. Kane--

"Just call me Grace" she quickly says. He nods. "As you wish... Grace" He grabs the bags from her hands and starts walking torward the haunted looking house.

Her heart was beating fast. Her belly was doing summersaults and cartwheels. Here she was, back where she was. She inhales and puffs up her chest. She begins to walk up to her home.

The man waits for her at the front steps. "You alright... Grace? He asks, tho there is no concern in his voice. not even  dot of worry. "No not really, but I don't really have a choice so just open the door"

The man opens the door, and on the other side was an empty narrow hallway. The only thing that filled that empty hallway was old fashioned antiques. It was a weird set up for a house.

When you usually walk in a house there is stairs, maybe even a room here and there. But no, all there is, is a narrow hallway. With only one door leading to the basement.

She breaths in the new scent of air which smelled like card board boxes and bleach. "Looks the same as when I left" she mutters. They start down the hallway.

At the end of the hallway was two rooms that are are both sides. She turns to the left door and opens it. Now she was standing in a hallway of multiple rooms. This place always reminded her of something from an old hotel, nobody visits because of all the killing that had happen in one of the rooms.

She walks down the hallway and at the end was one single door. She opens it. It looks like what a regular house should be. It has a kitchen, and small TV in the living room, and a couple of small bedrooms. "My parents always liked to pretend they were normal. That they wanted to settle down in a normal small little house" she mutters, and lifts her head up.

She walks  in the kitchen and opens a door that looks like it's suppose to be a pantry. But what is inside was what a normal old mansion would look like. She was still on the 1st floor. She walks to the middle of the big space and stares at the stairs.

A boy that looks 3 years older than her, looks down at her. His skin was pale, and his eyes had deep circles. He has neatly combed dark hair. "Hello, Henry" she greets, her voice sounding like she was bored. "Grace... it's has been a long time" he responds, his voice sounds as if he was trying to act like a gentleman. Something from the old days, his clothes was also like that.

"Where is mother and father? "Just up stairs, in the... torture room" she makes her way up the stairs. "It's nice to see you again, little sister" she pauses and looks at him from the corner of her eyes. "It's not like I'm your real sister...I was adopted after all" she then leaves. She opens a door and enters a big space with multiple doors. They were all labeled. "bathroom, ball room, theater room. Comedy room, work room, lounge room" even sex room. She finally reaches the end and found the "Torture room"

Without any hesitation she opens the door. It was dark in the room and there was a set of steep stairs. If you didn't watch your step you would have fell straight down and broke your neck. There, she hears a faint scream and laughter. With out any hesitate, and a blank face she makes her way down the steps. As she reaches the bottom the only thing that seemed to be giving off light was the torches hanging on the walls. She makes her way to an old medieval looking door and opens it.

A regret rushes over her, from what she lays her eyes upon. in the dim room she could she four people. Two laughing while the man and women were screaming. the other two laughing man and women were her parents. While the screaming ones she didn't recognize. her father stares up at her. "I-I didn't know you were here..." her father said awkwardly. The daughter just stares at the other couple. "What the hell do you think you are doing" the man and women's scream come to a quick halt. The nude man and women stare up at he confused Grace. They seem to be covered in needles and has many cut on there bodies. Her father and Mother both holds up tweezers. Grace slowly shuts the door and gets the hell out of the torture room. She goes up the stairs and closes the door.

"Enjoyed it? Grace gives the boy a cold stare. "I bet you would've" she shoots back. The boy smiles, and even lets out a little giggle. Grace rolls her eyes and starts walking away. "Stop bothering me" "I simply just want to hang out with my sister who has been gone nearly two years"

She turns the corner and bumps into a man, who was walking with a book in his hand. But now the book lays on the ground opened. She picks up the book out of curiousity. It has drawings and words like any ordinary book. But not really your ordinary story. More like a book a killer would make. It was about dismemberment, and showed very graphic pictures of boys and girls getting murdered or there dismembered body. The images and reading made her shiver. She then turns to the reader. It seemed to be her uncle. "Uncle Tim..." he snatches the book from her hands. "Thanks for picking up my book for me" tho he doesn't seem sincere. "what are you reading? she asks. "Human body" he lies. Grace knows it was more then that. "Well it was nice seeing you" he says, before hustling off to his room. Grace narrows her eyes as she watches the uncle hustle off. "Strange as usual my family" she mutters.

"Uncle has been reading the book ever since his wife died" Grace turns to her brother. "I think he wants to kill someone" Henry says. "don't joke about that" she says firmly. He takes a step real close to her and looks her dead in the eyes. "does it look like I'm joking" Grace turns away. "Dinner will be ready soon. a suggest you change into something more suitable" he says. Grace scolds her brother, as he smiles. "run along to your room" She turns around and heads to her room.

nothing has change, except for the junk. They must wanted it clean when she arrived, which she didn't argue with. She plops down on her bed and stares  at her ceiling. "I know Lizzy, I have to try. Smile, talk, laugh, and repeat. Act like a good daughter. Pretend that you don't remember, and get through this. then do the same thing the next year, and the next, and the next, and the next, until they all die and I can be happy"

"Don't think such cruel things" a women's voice exclaims. Grace stares up at a women with long black hair, and blood red lipstick. She is wearing the most beautiful aquamarine dress Grace has ever seen. She had pretty blue eyes to match the beautiful dress. "Our family is a blessing, look what we build ourselves upon" says Grace's older sister.

Grace changes the subject. "Why are you in my room? "To say hi. And to help you pick what to wear for dinner"

Her sister is a beautiful women. She always catches men's attention, even as a little girl she liked to tease older men with her beauty. Everybody loves her sister. But Grace never excepted her dating some like Ricky. Nor marrying. Tho he is a photographer like Grace. Claire is a model. Grace can't help but think Claire married him for the money. Tho her face is already a money machine.

Claire looks her little sister up and down. "My God...you are dressed like someone just died! she exclaims. "It's better then looking like I came back from yoga"

"There must be something you have..." She looks through her closet. "Why is everything black" Grace just shrugs. "Oh you should where this" she turns around showing off the dress to Grace. Grace raises a brow. "But..." "No buts I will help you get ready for dinner. It's gonna be so great having the family back to normal" her sister sqeauls. But having the family back to normal was one of Grace's fears.
