In most studios ballet is required but my teacher gave my class a paper of questions to fill out and one of them was if ballet was optional would we still take it and why. Of course I answered yes even though sometimes it's torture it is good for ever thing. The only reason she was saying this was because the classes where to full or she would make you do ballet all day long.
