Part 13

Merida's POV

"Hello, sleepy head, wake up!!!" Rapunzel called. "Breakfast is in and hour!"

"Yes, whatever." I mumble. "I haven't had a lay in, in the three days I have been here."

I get up, get dressed and in no time we munching our breakfast.

"Merida, We are going to hold a welcome ball for your parents when they arrive. We have invited our friends, Stoik the Vast and of course your friends are invited too." Says the Queen. I don't say anything so she tells me there will be a waltz followed by a feast.

"Cool. Dad doesn't like dancing much. I doubt Stoik will either." I say. "How are we going to send the invites to the North Pole? We haven't got a snow globe."

"Hmm...Good point." Says Rapunzel.

"Maybe, we could wait till come to see us and invite them then."

Jack's POV

"Gosh, Hiccup, how many books can you read on spring Guardians" I tease. "You spent all day yesterday reading."

"Well, you will be glad to know that I have finished reading. Maybe, we should go and see Merida and Rapunzel." Hiccup says as closing a book the book he is reading.

"Yeah, ok." I say.

"It will be good to see them. I better fetch Toothless, it will be good to ride him" Hiccup says.

After Hiccup got toothless ready and I told North were we are going, we set off.

"Hey, Hiccup, want to race to Corona Palace?" I ask.

"Wouldn't I win? I am on Toothless." Hiccup replies.

"Oh, well, it will be fun to see if I could beat you or at least keep up." I say wanting to race anyway.

"Ok, but I warned you." Hiccup replies.

"Ok, when I smash the portal, we go." I say. "3...2...1..."

Once I smashed the snow globe, Toothless and Hiccup speed ahead into the portal, closely followed by me.

Toothless and Hiccup were soon way ahead of me. This wind blowing the other direction isn't helping either. Soon, i reached the wood just outside the city of Corona. Hiccup had slowed down so I could catch up.

"That's one fast dragon you have there" I say when I finally reached him.

Rapunzel's POV

"Enjoyed, your time outside doing archery?" I ask Merida as she walks into my room.

"Yes. I saw Hiccup and Toothless, in the distance so I guess they will be here any minute now. Lets meet them in the stables." Replies Merida and heads for the door.

I was just about to go out of the door until I hear a voice belonging to Jack.

"Hey, Rapunzel, open the door. It's locked."

"Merida! Wait!" I call, but there is no reply so I go over to Jack to open the door. "Come in, Jack."

"Hiccup, is at the stables. He is seeing if he can leave Toothless in the courtyard." Said Jack as he came in and gave me a hug.

"Er, Jack, your cold." I groan, but with a smile still on my face

Suddenly, we hear laughing coming from outside.

"I wonder whats so funny?" I ask.

"I have no idea" Jack replies. "But it must be good, for the laughing to be that loud."

"Come on, Jack, lets go to the stables." I say.

Hiccup's POV

I land Toothless in the stable courtyard and I look around to see who I could ask, where I could leave Toothless. Everyone is staring at Toothless clutching what ever is in their hands. Dragons must be new to them and scary.

"It's ok, he won't harm you." I call out. Everyone just give me a blank look. "Toothless sit." I command Toothless, showing the people I have full control over my dragon.

Toothless sat instantly and give me a toothless grin.

Suddenly, someone started laughing and sent the whole court yard of people laughing. To top it off Toothless rolled over onto his back with the grin still of his face which made people laugh even more.

Soon, people started to recover from their laughing fit and got back to their work.

"Hiccup, why was everyone laughing?" Merida asked chuckling.

"Oh, hi, Merida. Everyone was laughing because Toothless, basically, is a show off." I reply. "Lets go inside. I think Toothless will be fine in the courtyard."

We head inside and bump into Rapunzel and Jack coming outside.

"Oh, your coming inside. There is something I want to tell you." Rapunzel says cheerfully. "My Father and Mother are throwing a welcome ball for Merida's Father and Mother. You two are invited to come! Hiccup, your father is coming too."

"Cool, looking forward to it." Says Jack happily.

"Can't wait." I say.

Pitch's POV

I can't stand being in the ally way, there is a celebration of some sort going on soon, the town is full of happiness and joy. UGH! I can't wait till my lovely nightmares are ready.

I look around the block up cave. There is the key and the empty scroll which doesn't look empty anymore. Thats interesting. I go over to look at what it says.

"Guardians of the Seasons" I read aloud. "Princess Rapunzel of Corona, Guardian of Spring."

Mmm, I never knew the princess of this wretched city is a guardian. All the more reason to attack Corona.

"Princess Merida of Dunbroch, Guardian of Summer" I carry on reading. "Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, Guardian of Autumn." What kind of name is that?

I look at the scroll to see who the guardian of winter is.

"Jack Frost, Guardian of Winter" I says gritting my teeth. I make the scroll into a ball and throw it against the stone wall. I hate Jack Frost. Something must be going on and I must find out what it is!

A/N - Story on hold as going away for the summer. I will try and get an update (finally) ready for September. I will make sure it is a long chapter or have two chapters ready.
