Coffee Shop

The rain was pouring down in heavy sheets and I ran to the nearest coffee shop. What the hell is wrong with the weather these days, I thought. It rained out of nowhere and yes it started raining cats and dogs. Frustrated as I was, I order a mocha coffee for myself and checked my phone to see if it was working or not after being drenched in the horrifying rain.

Tip; ALWAYS keep your phone in your bag seriously.

I looked outside to see rain pouring down furiously. To be honest, nothing made me more annoyed than being late for heading back to home. I just wanted my bed and some noodles to enjoy this weather rather than being stuck in it myself.

SHIT MAN! A guy entering the coffee shop yelled. I turned my face to see who was swearing so loudly and caught myself staring at a perfect playboy. You know how playboys are, don't you? They have the most incredible jawline, the perfect muscles and that fitted shirt which shows off their workout progressions just well. The waitress bought me back to life.

"Your coffee ma'am," she said in a shrill voice.
I smiled at her and what else could I possibly do? I couldn't strangle her for disrupting my beautiful vision of the playboy. The guy settled in a seat, leaving about a room of three tables from mine. As there was nothing else to do, I decided to check him out until the rain gets done.

"Sir your coffee," the waitress told him and as he faced upwards to thank her, the guy caught me, observing him. He raised his eyebrow and that was when it dawned upon me that I was caught. Hurriedly, I lowered down my gaze and started pretending to be indulged in my phone. My heart started beating faster than ever.
Relax, I told myself. This happens; you stare at a stranger and he catches you and end of story. I thanked God when the rain ended and I stood up to leave the coffee shop. Being caught staring a random boy was really embarrassing. I gathered my stuff and walked outside.

Okay so here is a quick introduction to who I am. I am Katy Jonnason; a girl who believes more in her dreams than people. I await the day I'll be a famous designer or at least will be capable of working with the top notch brands. To describe myself in three words; independent, career oriented and happy. What else could a girl like me wish for? I had parents who loved me and I had siblings who pampered me.

I rushed outside the coffee shop and almost ran to the nearest bus stop. Busy wondering what I had done inside and totally occupied by my thoughts, I was interrupted by a car honking loudly. I stared at an Audi, as a guy peered from it.

"You want a ride?" he smiled.
I noticed that he was the same guy I was busy checking out in the coffee shop. Great, I thought.

"No thanks," I said curtly and pretended to be super busy with my phone. He stood there for a minute until he gave up and went away. I let out a sigh of relief and as soon as the car was away from sight, I decided to walk back home as the bus was nowhere to be seen.
