4 Awkward Introductions

"Brace yourself." Mika said.

I took a deep breath before following Mika into the campsite. There was a light smoky smell in the air from a campfire nearby. The noises of the cam grew increasing louder as Mika and I drew nearer to the campfire. What could all this commotion be from? I wondered.  I soon had my answer. A black haired male with a bedhead was screaming at a boiling pot that was over the fire. The water inside was boiling over and putting out the fire.

"Noooooooo! All of my hard work; gone!" The black haired male sobbed loudly.

"What an idiot." A pink haired male with glasses scolded the boy with black hair.

"Awww, I was looking forwards to some warm food!" A short purple haired female whined. A blonde girl standing next to her with her arms crossed nodded in agreement.

"BAKA YUU!!!" they all screamed (except for Yoichi, who just nervously laughed and scratched the back of his head) at the poor dark haired boy. He cringed and laughed nervously.

"It was...Kimizuki! He was supposed to be watching it!" Yuu shouted and pointed at the pink haired male.

"Since when was I supposed to be watching it! This was all obviously your fault!" He yelled as he grabbed the dark haired boy apparently called Yuu by his shirt and began to shake him back and forth like a rag doll.

"We shall starve!" The girl with purple hair shouted exasperatedly as she fell to her knees and cursed the heavens.

Mika cleared his throat. "Ahem." Nobody seemed to notice over the ensuing chaos. He glared at them and tiredly placed his hand over his eyes. "I'm so sorry you have to meet these idiots."

"Ahahah..." I laughed half heartedly. These people were insane! Moon Demon Company huh? They look like a bunch of crazy teenagers! I couldn't really think of anything to say. I was blown away by strangeness of the situation.
Mika stepped forward and said, "Would you pleased all stop shouting for a minute?!"

That got their attention.

"Hey, Mika's back! Yuu exclaimed.

"No duh." The pink haired male said as he hit Yuu on the back of the head.

"Owww!" Yuu whined. "No need to be so salty."

"You're the salty one."

Yuu glared at him and then said, " Good point."

"Anyways...this is (y/n), she had kindly agreed to lead us through the forest. Please don't traumatized her too much." Mika said as he glared at Yuu.

"Oh, so she's the girl who you—" Yuu was quickly cut off from finishing his sentence by Mika's hand suddenly covering his mouth. Yuu struggled for a while and then gave up. Mika cautiously pulled his hand away from Yuu's mouth.

I giggled at Mika and Yuu's brother-like behavior. So Mika really did get along with these vampire killers.

"Please introduce yourselves." Mika said.

Yuu was the first to speak. "Hello! I'm Yuuichiro but I go by Yuu. Nice to meet you!" He smiled and winked.

"Shinoa! Glad you came! It will be nice to have another girl aground. It'll even out the numbers."

"Mitsuba, nice to have you!"

"Yoichi!"

"Kimizuki."

"Nice to meet you all!" I said cheerily, but I was freaking out on the inside. What am I thinking?! I haven't interacted socially for years! I think I just forgot all of their names. They're all going to think I'm so strange, why did I agree to this in the first place again? Oh right, it was my bloody brilliant idea.

Ahhhhhh! My mind was going rapid fire. I glanced over at Mika and accidentally made eye contact. All of my thoughts instantly slowed down as I looked into those dreamy red eyes...woah, wait. Dreamy? Really? That's the best word I could think of for them?! I remembered the reason why I really volunteered to help them across. Heheh...I'm such a creep.

I realized I was staring and immediately pulled my eyes away, feeling my face heat up. "So...when do we leave?"
