Falling For You || Emmett Cullen

~ Nine ~

Bella stormed into the house, Edward following her. They pretended to have an argument as did Emmett and I.

"It's over Edward. Get out!" She yelled, slamming the door in his face.

"I don't ever want to see you again. I'm so done with whatever this was, Emmett. Leave me alone!" I yelled, storming into the house and up the stairs.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong?" My dad asked, following me up the stairs. 

I slammed the door shut, seeing Emmett already packing some of my clothes and other stuff as I rushed over, helping him.

"I can't hurt him, Emmett.." I whispered, zippering up the suitcase as I heard him talking to Bella outside.

"It's the only way to keep him safe for now, Cammy." He sighed, kissing my forehead before Bella knocked on my door.

"Camilla, let's go!" She exclaimed as Emmett sped out of my room, out the window. 

I grabbed my bag before opening the door. I refused to look at my dad, knowing the look in his eyes would kill me. 

"We gotta get out of here." Bella said as I stormed down the stairs, her following behind.

I rushed to the kitchen, grabbing something to eat so it looked believable. 

"Look, I know I'm not the perfect father-" He started. 

I didn't want to hear anything he had to say, knowing it would make me cry.

"You're not my father at all." I spat out, rushing outside and slamming the door behind me.

I rushed to the truck, throwing my bags into the truck before hopping into the trunk. I felt my tears brim in my eyes as I hugged my knees. I began to quietly sob, knowing that I hurt my father by saying those words. I heard Bella slam the door on her way out before walking to the truck. She threw her bag at me before getting in. She backed out of the driveway before driving to the Cullen's house.

Edward jumped onto the side of the car, causing me to slightly jump before he got in the car with Bella. Emmett suddenly jumped into the trunk beside me, causing me to let out a short scream before running my fingers through my hair. 

"You okay?" Emmett asked, pulling me up to him.

I shook my head as he pulled me into his warm embrace. I hugged him back tightly, shutting my eyes. I felt the car stop as Emmett jumped out of the trunk before putting me down. He grabbed our bags, handing them to me and Bella before walking behind Edward and Bella to enter the house. As soon as we entered my eyes caught Laurent's as Emmett growled, pushing me behind him. 

I held tightly onto the arm he kept in front of me as Laurent explained his visit. Emmett's breathing slowed down as he left before we all rushed to the basement. 

"I had to kill James's kind before, it's not easy." Jasper said, walking into the basement.

"Yeah, but not impossible." Emmett reminded, opening a cabinet.

"Take this." Edward said, handing one of Bella's jacket's to Esme.

"I have this of Cammy's." Emmett said, holding up one of my shirts.

"How did-" 

"It's perfect, we'll lead them away." Carslie said, getting into the other car with Esme.

"I don't want to leave you." Emmett muttered, pulling me closer to him.

"I'll keep her safe, Emmett. You know I will." Alice said before handing me to Jasper.
