Chapter 2: Please Help Her
ϟ ϟ ϟ
Jacob stood in the doorway with a bloody Delilah in his arms he looked down at his baby sister who was clearly in pain and walked through the door and into the strange looking house.
Jacob looked up from his sister to find a whole bunch of red heads just staring at him but mostly staring at the beaten and bloody 13-year-old in his arms. He looked at the family expectantly waiting for them to tell him what to do.
"WELL, HELP HER!" Jacob shouted rather harshly, worried that she was going to die.
The plump woman who answered the door stepped forward startled at his outburst and said calmly. "Yes of course. Follow me."
She lead him into a living room with several chairs and couches. All the redheads quietly followed the boy and their mother. The woman instructed that he lie her onto the couch.
Once she was on the couch the woman spoke to her husband, "Arthur go get Dumbledore." The man, who's name was apparently Arthur, nodded following her instructions. He hustle out of the living room and to the fireplace that was placed by the dining table.
He grabbed the green powder that was sitting on the mantle and stepped into the fireplace. He loudly said, "HOGWARTS!" and threw down the powder and disappeared into the green flames that consumed his body.

Back in the living room Mrs. Weasley muttered minor healing spells, the only ones she knew. Not caring if the 15-year-old boy beside her was a muggle or not. If he was she would just erase the memory and continue on with life. She tried her best to stop the bleeding but none of the spells she was using were working.
Jacob sat beside Mrs. Weasley holding tightly onto his sisters hand, blocking everything and everyone out, praying that she would live. Jacob was sobbing loudly while Mrs. Weasley tried to help the poor girl. His crying covered the sound of Mrs. Weasley's spells.
Ron, Fred, George, Ginny, and Percy all sat outside the door that lead into the living room watching their mother and the stranger kneeling over the bloody girl. The peaked through the door concerned of what would happen to the poor stranger and her brother.
Just as Mrs. Weasley was losing hope of saving the girl. Severus Snape barged into the room his black cloak billowing behind him and stern look upon his face.
"Does he always wear that thing?" Fred commented from behind to door towards his other siblings.
Albus Dumbledore and Arthur Weasley hustled into the living room after the potions professor that created the horrid spell that nearly killed Delilah.
Snape walked over to the unconscious girl and Mrs. Weasley took Jacob hand and lead him away from his sister so that the professor had room to do his thing. The plump short woman hugged the tall 15-year-old comfortingly while he cried.
Snape started to mutter advanced healing spells ones that only a genius could master. The blood that covered Delilah's body started to slowly, magically soak back into her skin.
You could tell that some of the pain subsided in the young girl for her body visibly relaxed and her breathing turned somewhat normal. But however they all the grown ups noticed the deep scars and giant bruises that covered the young girl from head to toe.
The all realized it was more than just an accident that happened, someone did this to her and they needed to find out who.
Jacob an to his sisters side and clutched onto her hand relieved that she was going to live.
The Weasley children who were still watching, their eyes widened. Snape! Just helped someone?
"Wow, he actually does something other than torture children," George exclaimed quietly.
They all laughed softly, except Percy who still had that permanent sour face on. They all turned back to living room to continue to watch the grown-ups.
The four adults gazed at the boy who was still crying over his sister but this time in happiness that she was going to live and she was okay.
After a while of standing there Albus spoke up, "Molly, Arthur. A word please."
The three left to the kitchen to discuss the strangers, while Snape was left to watch over the girl and her brother.
Molly immediately got to the point once they arrived to the Kitchen, "Albus, do you know who they are?"
Molly gazed worriedly at the old professor in hope, and he answered her by nodding simply and saying, "I have an idea. But I think we need to know for sure before we jump to conclusions."
Arthur and Molly stared at the old man expectantly waiting for him to tell them what to do.
"For now we wait till the girl wakes up. When she does inform me immediately and I will come as soon as I can." he concluded and the two parents nodded to their old professor.
"What of the boy?" Arthur questioned
Albus glanced over to the boy in the living room who was still holding tightly to his sister's hand and looking at her in relief.
"We will wait to question him until his sister wakes up. We do not want to upset him he nearly lost his sister today. Is it alright if they remain here for the time being?"
The couple nodded agreeing to Dumbledore.
With that final comment Dumbledore nodded to Snape and they made their way towards the fireplace. The bid them all a good evening and left with a poof of green fire.
Molly and Arthur glanced at each other and walked over to the boy.
"Come along you must be tired from your journey. We will get you a nice warm bed upstairs." Molly said with a kind-hearted smile on her face.
Jacob slightly shook his head and looked down at his sister's sleeping face, "No, I want to be by her side just incase she wakes up."
They both slightly smiled at his love for his sister but Arthur thought quickly and said, "We can take her up with you but her in the same room as you."
Jacob thought for a minute and nodded and picked his sister up and the Weasley's showed his to their son Charlie's old room for in fact he has moved out. They placed a cot in the room and Jacob being the kind loving brother he was put Delilah on the bed and he went over to the cot and laid down not falling asleep for hours because he was worried sick about his baby sister.
