Grayson's P.O.V
The school is a 10 minute drive from Izabel's house. Ethan and Izabel are talking about something, but I'm not listening. I'm too nervous to listen. I'm worried about high school. Ethan, Izabel, and I have a bit of a bad reputation. Well Izabel didn't really have one until she started to hang out with us. In middle school, we were always a bit alone. Parents told their kids to stay away from us. That we were bad news.... or that we were cocky. Some kids didn't listen and hung out with us, but mostly everyone either stayed away from us... or bullied us. "Hello? Earth to Grayson?"
I snap back to reality and turn to look at Izabel.
"Well???"
"Well what."
She rolls her eyes and repeats her question. "Where should we meet for lunch?"
I shrug my shoulders. "I dunno."
She lets out a snort of anger.
"Jesus Dolan get your head straight. What's wrong anyways?"
I just shake my head. "It's nothing. I'm fine. Lets meet out by the car for lunch. I don't want to eat the schools shit food."
Her and Ethan share a look. Ethan sighs. "Look dude, I know you're nervous. Trust me, Izabel and I are both nervous. Just be cool and try not to worry too much."
I nod my head but say nothing else. We pull into the school and find a spot to park. "Well I'll see you later in Math, Gray." I smile at Izabel. "See ya then." We walk our separate ways to our classes. My first class is P.E. woohoo (note the sarcasm lol) I go into the gym and walk towards the bleachers where the rest of the class is. I recognize most of the kids. They look at me and look back to their friends and whisper. Oh great rumors about me already. I sit down and the bell rings. The teacher walks in and everyone goes silent. He discusses the rules, calls roll, and hands out the disclosures. Typical first day of school routine. I pull out my phone to see a text from Izabel. I read it in disbelief. Are you fucking kidding me.
