I can't believe it, Kaiden gets to be partners with Izabel already.
How the fuck did that happen? Did she choose to be partners with him?
I remember back in 6th grade he used to make fun of Ethan and I. Only when Izabel wasn't around, he needed that reputation of a "good kid" to her. We never told her what he did and said to us. We couldn't do that to her, especially since she liked him so much. We are her best friends, I know we should have told her, but we couldn't. The bell rings and I head off to math.
Fuck I have class with her... what do I do?
I walk in and look around, she isn't in here yet. I sit down and watch the door as kids come in. Finally, she walks in and we make eye contact. My heart races, everytime I look into her beautiful hazel eyes, I get lost in them. Her laugh is the most amazing thing I can hear. Her smile can brighten up the whole world. And I'm not gonna lie when I say this, ever since 6th grade... I'VE had a crush on Izabel. She's so gorgeous and I would do anything... ANYTHING to have her be mine. She heads over to the table I'm at and sits down next to me.
"Look Izabel I'm sorry about my text. I am happy for you, trust me."
She sighs and turns to me.
"It's okay Gray. I forgive you for being a douche."
We laugh and the teacher gives us a look. She goes over some boring rules, takes roll and hands out disclosures. Izabel and I then proceed to make fun of our math teacher when she gets a text. She looks at it and begins to smile.
"What is it?"
She looks up at me. "It's Kaiden, he says he can't wait to work with me for our project. Oh! And he wants to do it after school. Guess you guys won't have to give me a ride home."
I clench my fist so hard my knuckles begin to turn white. "Okay."
The bell rings and we walk to mine and Ethans car.
"Hey losers! How was your classes!"
We get up to him and I tell him my classes were fine. As we get in the car Izabel explains her whole history project with Kaiden. Ethan looks at me and I roll my eyes. I start the car and drive to the Carl's Jr. across the street. We go in and order our food and sit down. Izabel keeps texting on her phone almost the entire time we're there. She says a few things to us, but that's about it. After we're done we head back to the school for third period. Ethan and I have history and Izabel has P.E. We go to third and the teacher does the same thing as the other teachers have done. Fourth period comes next and I walk to science. Teacher does the same thing and the bell rings. Finally time to get out of this hell hole.
I see that Ethan is at the car by himself. "Hey E! Ready to go?"
He nods and I look over across the parking lot. Izabel is standing there talking to Kaiden when she gets in the car with him.
That fucking douche.
I get in the car and we drive home in complete silence.
