Logans POV
I hugged her yesterday night. I really hugged her. God I'm stupid, what if she didn't want to be hugged?
But all I can think about is that hug. It was a magical one, I just know it.
I'll stop with that cheesy nonsense.
It was almost time to go, I wore my usual clothes. A gray shirt, jeans, and my black sweatshirt.
My hair was kept in its usual messy style.
Today I was going to walk to school, so I grabbed my apple and left home.
Halfway there, I saw Ashley, and my day lit up almost instantly."Hello there Ash!"I said ruffling her hair.
"DO NOT TOUCH THE HAIR, HART!"She screamed at me. Oww... my poor, poor ears.
Wait, what am I doing. I can't have friends, ill just move anyways.
But a little voice inside my head thought differently.
'You're life is miserable already, just make friends!' It said .
I decided to listen to that voice. Maybe things will be different.
"Sheesh ok!"I said laughing. She glared at me, before laughing a long with me.
"So, what's your favorite color, food, animal, do you have any siblings?"She asked.
"Uhh...Blue,pizza,dog,and yes a sister,"I responded. "Now you answer those questions,"
"Silver,chicken wings,CATS,and no,"She responded smiling.
"Cool,"I said. Her smile suddenly dropped, and she put in her hood, tucking her arm into her very side.
I looked up to see Brittney and another girl with red hair.
"Hey, it's ok. They're jerks, don't let them get to you,"I said, looking down at a huddled Ash.She looked up at me with fearful eyes, but slowly nodded. Some relief shown on her face.
Brittany and the other girl seemed to have spotted me and Ash, so they sashayed over to us.Ash huddled up to my side, I wrapped an arm around her. I felt her relax a little.
"Loser,"Britney cackled to Ash.
"Quit it Brittney, you won't get anywhere bullying anyone,"I said through clenched teeth.
"Like whatever, let's go Sasha,"Brittney said spinning on her heel, Sasha following behind her, scowling at us.
"Thanks,"Ash whispered.
"No problem, but you shouldn't let them treat you like this,"I said seriously.
"But what can I do? I have an arm and a half, and they're always going to be mean,"She mumbled.
"Show them who you are on the inside, you shouldn't care about what people think of you because you're amazing,"I said. Since when did I become a advice giver?
"Maybe,"She said smiling up at me.
We walked into school, people started to notice us. I felt nervous and shy, I think Ash did to because I felt her stiffen beside me.We were just awkwardly walking down the hallway, no one else was moving but us. I'm glad I had English with Ash everyday.
There will always be this doubt in my mind, that I shouldn't have friends, because I'll just get hurt again.
Let me explain. After the first time I moved, I tried to keep in touch with my friends, by email.
I emailed them, the emailed me back. I kept trying to talk to them, but all of a sudden they just stopped taking to me.
That's how it always is.
But maybe things will change this time..____
