"Where's Allie?" Sweeney closed his lips tightly

"I wouldn't know who she is"

"Pretty little thing i don't know how many years" Sweeney's remaining morals made him gag slightly. "Are you all right sir?"

"The pie is a little stale" Judge Turpin nodded

"The worst pies in London i'm afraid"

"I've only been here a day"

"Yet you see some things already?"

"What are you speaking of sir?"

"Women" Sweeney looked up

"Women?"

"Pretty women" He started explaining. "Pretty women. fascinating. Pretty little girls... sitting at their window. or combing out their hair... Even when they hide themselves they somehow are still there"

"Take a little time" Allie stood by the counter with a woman Sweeney vaguely recognised. She strode towards Turpin "Take a little step back. Have a little pie take a little spin do a little twirl! i don't care! just don't. approach. my girl" Sweeney watched him leave

"You don't like him do you darlin?" He shook his head. Allie's mother leaned back "We have a common foe then" Allie frowned

"Who says foe?" Sweeney answered her.

"People who mean it"
