Ethan's POV
"Ass in the cell Dolan." Officer Delaney shooed me into the miniature barred room, where my cellmate Nathan was sat at the top bunk, swaying his legs back and forth.
Delaney uncuffed my hands and took a step backwards, letting the metal bars slam shut.
I rubbed my wrists, soothing the pain from the handcuffs. I was still in shock about Grayson's visit, and how everything went downhill so fast.
"Bro, today was your lucky day huh." Nathan hopped down from his bunk and brushed out his afro with his comb.
"I wouldn't call it lucky." I sighed, lowering myself down until I was crouched on the charred ground.
Nathan sat down opposite me. "You just got told you're being released, if that's not lucky I don't know what is."
"It's not about that." I stared down at the orange jumpsuit, where my name was stitched on. It should be Grayson's name. Not mine.
"Grayson visited me today."
Nathan suddenly became intrigued, "Grayson as in your twin brother?"
I nodded, "He had this girl with him... she reminded me so much of his ex."
I thought of Juliet, she was beautiful, and so innocent looking. How did she end up with him?
"The ex that he..."
"Yes. That ex. The reason I'm in this place."
"That's bad." Nathan looked down at his calloused hands.
"I know it is. She's not safe with him. And she's completely oblivious to it."
I thought of all the possible lies he was probably feeding her at this moment, false accusations about me. Trying to make himself look like some kind of saint, when he's the complete opposite.
"I just don't get why Grayson hates me so much, the only person on my side is my dad. I mean she probably hates me too."
"Then you need to open her eyes for her, if Grayson is what you say he is, history is going to repeat itself."

Juliet's POV
Wow.
That was pretty much the only word I could use to sum up my day.
Wow.
Everything just happened so fast. Way too fast.
I waddled over to the couch and dropped onto it, sinking down into the softness. Netflix was the only solution to a crappy day.
The sound of metal clanging together made me jump, I quickly turned my head around to the source of the sound. It was coming from the garage.
Juliet do not investigate. I repeat, do not investigate.
Despite my subconscious telling me not to I still got up and began walking to the door that lead to the garage. I rested my ear against the wood trying to listen to any other noise, and when another loud clang happened I busted the door open.
"WHO'S THERE!"
I stumbled over a tool box and almost went flying, luckily enough someone was able to catch me.
"Dustin?" I quickly adjusted myself.
"Juliet... uh... I didn't think you'd be home." He stifled a nervous laugh, it was only remotely suspicious.
