Blue Harbour Correctional Facility.
I stared at the building, examining it's flaws. It was a washed out brown colour, the only sound you could hear was the treading of boots belonging to the officers.
"Why are you doing this?" Grayson asked, he was just as nervous as I was.
"I'm doing this for you."
He smiled, but it soon faded after he took another look at the building.
"Gray it's a little too late for cold feet."
I took hold of his hand and grasped it tightly, "Come on."
He inhaled a deep breath before we walked in, greeted by a good old security check.
"I'm gonna need you to sign this here." A middle aged man grumbled, handing me a clipboard with a list of names belonging to inmates.
I signed the paper and handed it to Grayson for him to sign, he gave it back to the guy who glared at us.
There was a loud buzz and soon after the door to the visitation room opened, leaving us exposed to visitors and inmates conversing.
The prison guard led us to a table, "Dolan will be out soon."'
Grayson nodded as we sat down.
"Wow... this place is really depressing." I looked around, I was pretty nervous about meeting Grayson's twin brother for the first time. And the fact that it happened to be in a prison made it even more awkward.
The metal bars clanged together signaling that the door was opening. We both looked up.
A young guy stood behind the bars, with hand cuffs around his callused hands. He looked like Grayson, the resemblance was crazy. He just had longer hair, with a faded white streak at the front. And his jawline was more defined, but he didn't look as intimidating.
A prison guard had a hold of him, and practically pulled him into the visitation room.
"Yo why am I back out here? I already did my visiting time today." He tried wriggling away from the guard but failed with the handcuffs around his hands.
"You've got new visitors." The guard pushed him over to our table, I didn't think he'd noticed us yet.
Ethan scoffed, shaking his head as he turned around to look at his 'new visitors'.
He stopped in his tracks, staring wide-eyed at Grayson.
There was a moment of intense silence.
"Gray?"
Grayson shuffled in his chair causing it to creak under his weight. He didn't say anything.
"Ass on the chair Dolan!" An officer bellowed. "You ain't got much time so I'd make this quick."
Ethan slowly lowered himself down onto the chair opposite me and Grayson.
"What are you doing here? I thought you didn't wanna see me."
I waited eagerly for Grayson to reply, part of me felt bad for Ethan. But I wasn't going to jump to any conclusions.
