I could barely contain my anger as I stormed over to Dustin who was grinning and laughing with Juliet over at the hot dog stall.
No matter how hard I tried to calm my sky rocketing nerves, my jaw remained clenched and my fists were balled by my side.
"Hey, Dustin. Long time no see, huh?" I grinned mockingly, satisfied with how his stupid smile was immediately wiped off his face.
"Grayson." He acknowledged me stiffly through gritted teeth, eyes looking everywhere but me.
"What do you want?" He snarled after a long pause, I took a quick glance at Juliet. She was already staring at me with confusion and worry evident in her eyes. Half of me wanted to walk away and not make a scene; the other side of me, the only side I ever listen to, yelled at me to break his nose and send him to hospital.
"Can we speak?" I hissed, eyes pacing from him to Juliet. My heart seized as she wrapped an arm around his, she could obviously sense the overbearing tension settling over us.
"No." He replied, gently pulling away from Juliet. "Whatever you wanna say, you can say it in front of me and Jules."
My jaw almost broke from the amount of pressure I laced it with, and I struggled to keep my cool as she smiled softly at him, almost as if she was proud.
"I said alone for a reason. I'm not gonna bite."
No, I'm gonna fucking kill you.
He threw me a bored expression and sighed. "Fine." He retorted, rolling his eyes as he followed me out back to the clearing of the looming woods.
"You've done enough damage, Grayson, what are you gonna do now?" He spat, crossing his arms causing me to smirk at the fact that my presence bugged him that much.
"Well, well. Look who grew some balls." I laughed, circling him, feeling my blood pump quickly through my veins. "Just remember, I could break you. Just. Like. That." I continued to taunt, feeling a rush of adrenaline as his face suddenly drops.
"Oh, yeah? And what about Juliet? I know you've got a little soft spot for her. What is she gonna think when she finds out that it should be you in that prison cell, not—"
"SHUT UP!" I yelled, before my mind was enveloped in deep thoughts cutting off his words.
"What? Did I hit a nerve?" Dustin chuckled, cocking an eyebrow once I stopped circling him, we were face to face now. And beneath that paper thin layer of confidence, he was quaking.
My eyes were now clouded with anger and I let out an amused, sinister laugh. Cocking my head to the side, I smirked before speaking, "Now look what you're about to make me do."
Without another word, I swung my arm at his nose, and the moment his body slammed onto the ground, I kicked him forcefully until I was sure there wasn't anymore urge to go any further.
I quickly stopped, swallowed by darkness and the only sound of his weak pants and my raspy breathing. I bent down, crouching beside him.
"Hmm. Red is definitely your color, Dustin." I grinned, watching the trail of red blood slither down his nose, quickly falling from his chin to the dirt.
"And you wanna know something, Dustin?"
When he didn't respond, I gave him another blow at his stomach and he let out a loud agonising groan.
"Answer me—"
"What? W-What is it?" He weakly yelled, coughing and spluttering blood.
"This is where you deserve to be. On the ground." My words rolled off my tongue smoothly, I stood up and towered over him.
