3. Official?

I just looked around confused. I don't know why but I'm just confused. Then Nick came in.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Yea. Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know. You just look a little upset."

"No, I just want to get out of this house."

"Well you're in luck. I'm pretty sure we are about to leave. Did you see that sketchy ass mask?"

"No," I told him.

"Good. You don't want to."

"I'll take your word for it. Well we should probably get going before a demon attacks us."

"You're right. Let's go."

And with that we got up, found everybody, and left. I kinda just stayed in the back. I didn't know what happened with Waleed and Geo but they seemed okay, but what was my place in all of this? And where was the nearest park bench? All of a sudden Geo was next to me.

Out of the blue his voice, "He's cool."

I nodded with a slight smile.

"Um are we..?" He asked a little worried.

"Cool? Yeah we're alright."

"Good," he smiled, holding my hand. I blushed.

Waleed looked back and I could tell he was a little hurt but he just turned around like if he didn't notice. We finally made it to somebody's car, I don't know who's, but anyway after a long car ride of awkwardness we finally made it to Geo's, Logan's, and Waleed's house.

Geo showed me where I could keep my stuff and he got me a fresh towel and wash rag. I jumped in the shower really quick and got out. Then I went to the couch where everyone was watching TV. There was a space by Geo so I just sat by him. I got really cold and started shaking a bit.

"Do you want a blanket?" Geo asked.

"Yes," I told him.

Geo got up and went to a closet, got a blanket, and gave it to me.

"Thanks," I smiled

"No problem," he returned the smile

I got under the cover and got comfortable. Then Geo decided to get under the cover and completely ruined my comfortableness.

"Damn, cover hog," I said.

"Oh I'm sorry are you saying something to me?" Geo smirked

"oH I'm sOrRy ArE yOu SAyinG sOMetHinG tO mE?" I mocked him

"You're adorable."

"You know what's really adorable? Sharing the cover," I snatched the cover off of him.

"Good thing I said you're adorable," he said snatching it back.

I just got up and used my jacket as a cover.

"It was a joke. Here," and we shared the cover.

"Thanks," I said with a slight hint if annoyance.

Geo gestured me to put my head on his shoulder so I did. It was 10 times more comfortable anyway.

"Are you getting sleepy Courtney?" Geo whispered

"Yeah, a little bit."

"Well go to my room and don't worry, there's enough blankets for everybody in the world."

"No, it's okay. I can sleep on the couch."

"No no no, sleep in my room, I insist. Plus Nick already has the couch."

"Okay"

"Alright. I'll be up there I'm a second."

I got up and walked up the stairs and turned into Geo's room. I got in his bed and it was a fight to keep my eyelids open.

"Courtney. Courtney.... Coooourtney." I heard someone whisper scream, but I thought it was just a dream until someone started shaking me.

"Courtney? Dang girl, I thought you were dead. Did you clean your ears when you were in the shower?" Waleed said with a smile.

"Omg who's funnier than you?" I asked sarcastically

"Nobody.... So um I just wanted to let you know that me and Geo are cool and I hope we are too."

"Yeah, we're alright."

"Good..good um....but I do have to tell you..um.. something else."

"Yeah? What is it?"

"I-I I do..Um..You know..have feelings for..um..You."

"Oh um.." I got cut off by Waleed.

"And you can't tell me you don't feel anything between us."

"I mean I do..feel the sparks but we just met and.."

"Yeah but people go on blind dates all the time and and and, you just met Geo, but you guys are already holding hands and cuddling on the couch."

"What are you guys talking about?" Geo stormed in.

"Um..." I said.

"Nothing," Waleed said fast and sharp and walked straight out the room.

"What was that all about?" Geo asked sitting on the bed.

"Um..I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay?" He said more like a question

Geo settled in the bed and I resettled.

"Um Courtney can I ask you a question?" He asked me.

"Yeah, anything, what is it?"

"D-Do-Do you want to be.."

I chuckled, "You said do-do. Okay sorry. Continue."

"You're not funny," he chuckled "But..um..will you be my...g-girlf-friend?"

"You mean like, we would be official?"

"Y-yeah I-I g-guess"

"Um..."

Kinda a cliffhanger but I hope all of the Americas had a happy fourth of July. (Idk y I said that like if I'm not American but)
