Have writer's block? Here are some tips!
1). Go to a different story for a while and come back to it later.
2). Find inspiration! Read other stories, watching a little TV, or maybe even going out to a popular place in town and 'stalk' people's actions (Just don't let them see you).
3). Ask a friend for help. You may be surprised with what they can do for you.
4). Take a break. Sometimes you have to let your brain rest if you have been writing for a while. Get up and move around, and try coming back a little while later.
5). Research historical events, and different time periods. Maybe your story could use an extra twist. America in the Great Depression, or maybe during the rise of the Roman Empire.
Starters/Ideas:
1). A fight breaks out between your best friend and their boyfriend/ girlfriend. It gets more and more intense. There's blood. What do you do?
2). You're a race car driver, coming around the final bend. The finish line is *right there* and you feel a tire go out. What are your reactions? Will you win the race?
3). At a concert, and a random stranger hands you and your best friend VIP backstage passes. And you meet (name). Is he who you thought he would be? Will romance spark? (*wink, wink*)
4). You walk into your kitchen to eat when you notice that your parents have an extra eye on their foreheads.
5). It is the end of the world, and there are only two people left in existence. You...and the person that you hate the most.
