This is for all of the nights you stay up until three a.m. staring at the ceiling going to

sleep with him on your mind. Only to wake up wishing he was by your side. Wondering if he

wonders about you the way you wonder about him. Wondering if he misses you the way

you miss him.

This is for all the times you wake up on cold winter mornings and drink your coffee

black, wondering how you've become addicted to something so bitter.

This is for the warm summer nights and your sweatshirt still smelling like campfire

and him even after three days, because you can't bear to wash it. Because it means you'll

be letting go

This is for the days, you go until nine p.m. without letting his honey brown eyes seep

into your mind, maybe you realized that your eyes are far more blue than his will ever be.

This is for the tuesday morning you wake up and realize that you don't need him to

survive.

This is for you.
