CARTER POV

Carter: So should we invite Matt? I mean he is your best friend.

Maria: Of course Of course!

I'll call him for a meet up so we can talk about the wedding if he's comfortable.

Carter: Okay babe.

*Maria calls Matt*

I couldn't hear anything they were talking about. Standing looking at hear call Matt made me nervous. I'm scared he still has feelings for her. I mean he left because of his feelings.

Maria: Hey bae Matt,Ella,and I are going to meet up tomorrow.

Carter: No problem I'll just take care of Kyle and take him to the beach or something.

------NEXT DAY-------

MARIA POV

I was at the mall with Ella waiting for Matt. He finally came after an hour or so.

Ella: About time! Haha

Ella went for a hug and.. I guess I did too. Were friends right? Nothing is wrong. I'm engaged to Carter and its gonna stay like that.

Matt: Hellooooooo

Maria: So wedding plans.

MATT POV

Great I'm here talking about her wedding. My own "best friend's" wedding.

Matt: Yup

I caught Ella glaring at me as I turned. She smiled and I did too. I couldnt believe I was ever going to be reunited with my friends. Maybe its just time for me to end everything...as in..my feelings. Maria explained on what was planned and I couldn't bare to just look at her. I mean to think Ive had a crush on her since we were kids. I'm not even sure if I should stop anymore.

ELLA POV

I was worried about Carter. Matt has been staring at Maria like he never have before. I'm not doing this because I like Matt. Wait did I just say that in my head?!?! NO! I love Jack Johnson remember? Ok.. lemme just text Carter.

Text to Carter: Matt is looking at Maria like not looking but fuckin staring its not even funny.

Reply: I knew this was a bad idea!

Maria: Are you paying attention?

Ella: Yep yep I am!

Maria: Mmm.. no you weren't. but its fine we can talk about it when its finalized.

Ella: Sure sure.

From the back I heard a voice yelling Matt's name. But I thought I was hearing things. Soon enough a fist flew right into Matt!

CARTER POV

Maria tries to pull me away from Matt but I just continued to box his ass. I was so absurd that I couldn't control myself.

Maria: Stop it Carter! OMFG!

I broke off and looked at Matt's face gush out the blood. He deserved everything..

Ella pulled him away from me as Maria pulled me. I embraced her like I have never before.

Carter: Are you OK?

Maria: I'm fine until you got here! What the hell Carter!

Carter: Can't you see he has feelings for you!!!

Maria looked at Matt and sighed: I do...

Matt: I don't!

Ella: Sure you don't...

MARIA POV

Matt ran off as quickly as possible. I saw tears run down.

Maria: MATT! MATT! Why did you!!!!

I couldn't resist myself from crying. I kneeled down covering my face as much as I could and broke down. I felt a tight grasp around my body which was Carter.

Carter: I'm sorry...

Maria: Its fine.... It's fine..

I held onto Carter as long as possible. Removing the tears that were made I saw Ella's tears build up looking at me.
