Rosie did not come to school that day. Her mum came in and spoke to the teacher then nothing more was said but no objects had disappeared that day.
Cassie pushed open the front door. No point carrying her keys around now, but she did anyway. Old habits die hard. Her mum was sticking up a piece of paper to replace the whiteboard she wrote her shopping lists on. The whiteboard had vanished the previous day.
